Pat Condell is an atheist who has many views regarding religion as a whole. Most of it is correct, some of it is incorrect and much of it is offensive, and deliberately so. Even when I disagree with him I love the fact that he is willing to cut to the chase and say exactly what he thinks. Condell is at least an equal opportunity offender.
At the end of this there will be links that will allow you to see more of his monologues. I think you will find him at the very least interesting, at the worst very disagreeable and at the best capable of provoking deeper thinking than you may have chosen to explore in the past.
As a side bar and on a personal level: It has occurred to me in the past that many of the people I communicate with, read regularly, respect intellectually and think of as friends are atheists; yet I am a believer. Go figure!
I actually like to listen to Condell, and I would be willing to bet he would be an acquaintance whose company I would enjoy. I would also be willing to debate him and I would be willing to challenge some of his views regarding Christianity, although for those who actually know a great deal about religion will find many of his criticisms to be completely accurate. Either way….you will find Pat Condell interesting.
