What Did Margaret Sanger Think about Abortion?

Jake (Diary)  |   |  6
Yesterday, January 22nd, 2013, is the anniversary of a date that should live in infamy. It was the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion throughout the United States.
At the forefront of the pro-abortion movement stands Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger, the organization’s founder, has a reputation as both a racist and eugenicist, but her words on abortion might surprise people. Take a look at some of her writings:…….
Now, as I said before, Sanger has a reputation as a racist and eugenicist…. “She turned women seeking abortions away from her clinics: “I do not approve of abortion.” She called it “sordid,” “abhorrent,” “terrible,” “barbaric,” a “horror.” She called abortionists “blood-sucking men with MD after their names who perform operations for the price of so-and-so.” She called the results of abortion “an outrageous slaughter,” “infanticide,” “foeticide,” and “the killing of babies.” …... So, for all of Margaret Sanger’s many issues and flaws, even she appears to have had some sort of standards. To Read More……
My Take – The thing that everyone should come away with this isn’t that Sanger wasn’t a supporter of abortion.  The thing we should take from this is the left has no values that they will firmly embrace.  Remember the left claims to be the defenders of the very minorities she wanted to sterilize and prevent from entering the country.  Now they merely want to kill them before they can be born.  We need to pay attention to the history of these movements.  That is where the answer really is as to what they believe and what they will do.  The problem with the left is they have sand as a foundation for their views.  Their views are as shifting as the sand on which their foundation is built.  The only solid value based foundation is one based on Judaic/Christian principles.  And they have even usurped those values with so many churches that claim to be Jewish or Christian.  There is one question that pops into my mind regularly that I would love to ask so many people.  Is it possible for a Christian or a Jew to be a Democrat without being a heretic?
