In order to boost Germany’s ‘ecological wonder’ and its green energy transition, the Federal Republic has used power grids of neighbouring countries – without asking for permission. For this short-sighted policy, the German government is now being punished. Germany considers itself the environmental conscience of the world: with its nuclear phase-out and its green energy transition, the federal government wanted to give the world a model to follow. However, blinded by its own halo Germany overlooked that others have to pay for this green image boost and are suffering as a result. For example, Germany’s ‘eco-miracle’ simply used the power grids of neighboring countries not only without asking for permission but also without paying for it. Now Poland and the Czech Republic have pulled the plug and are building a huge switch-off at their borders to block the uninvited import of green energy from Germany which is destabalising their grids and is thus risking blackouts. My Take - Why is it that all the 'green miracles' turn out to be fraudulent? Simple! The science promoting it was fraudulent, and the economic claims made by supporters of pushing greenie 'solutions' were fraudulent, and the real motives behind their actions are hidden. Why should we be surprised that the end results are fraudulent? I think what is most irritating is the self righteous ‘better than thou’ attitude they always display....at least until they are exposed and then they are either totally quiet or attack those who have exposed them. Either way.....being green means 'never having to say you're sorry' for the devastation they cause. This has always been the case, whether it involves pesticides, climate change or any other position these irrational, misanthropic and morally defective groups take. RK
