Earlier this week, a link at Instapundit led me to a piece by one Ryan Lovelace, a gutsy college journalism major who has dared to tell the truth about the curricular lunacy at the place where he’s studying, “a small Midwestern liberal arts institution in Indianapolis” called Butler University.  His primary focus is on Political Science 201: Research and Analysis, a class taught by a black woman who calls on students, in the name of “social justice,” to use “inclusive language,” meaning language that “affirms sexuality, racial and ethnic backgrounds,” and so on, and that, Lovelace writes, expects students “to disregard their ‘American-ness, maleness, whiteness, heterosexuality, middle-class status’ when writing and speaking in the classroom.”  To Read More…..

My Take - Clearly the problem is that universities all over the world have been infested by leftists....and this goes back for decades.  This corruption by leftists has been in the works longer than I have been alive and I am 66.  So what is the answer?  De-fund them all!  Force them to become totally independent financially and let them fail or stand on their record of achievement. 

There are far too many going to college anyway, learning nonsense in nonsense courses that will not get them jobs that will pay their student loans and will not allow them the life style that one would expect from such an investment as college has become.  How many jobs are available for those who graduate with a degree in Black or Feminist studies...and how much to they pay?  For that matter how many jobs are available for those with degrees in Marine Biology?  At least that one has some value. 

College has become a gigantic scam, and the scammers are all leftists who only care about the dollars they can bring in.  When it became a national paradigm that “everyone” had right to a college degree, it became public policy to find some way to fund it; then college degrees became expensive and in many cases meaningless.   What is worse is there are so many ‘teaching’ these kids; and so many in charge of the universities who are all pampered and dumb as dirt!  Just like Trotsky!
