My Take I have posted a number of links showing that China isn’t the harmonious socialist utopia the left would portray it.  It has been a virtual nightmare more often than not and its still a police state without basic human rights.  Every once in a while I will get a bunch of hits on my blog from China, which is surprising since they keep restricting access.  However……setting oneself on fire as a political statement is insane.  I’m not sure what it is about Buddhism that generates this kind of action, but it was insane when Buddhists did it in 1963 in S. Vietnam to protest the Diem regime and its insane now in Tibet.
