Fed-up Americans: 'We're not going to accept this. We're against it' - Thousands of gun owners across America have had enough of the Obama administration’s attack on the Second Amendment – and they’re preparing to take their concerns to the capitols in at least 47 states this Saturday at 12 p.m. Texan Eric Reed, founder and national coordinator of the “Guns Across America” rallies, told WND he’s irritated about all the talk of new gun-control regulations and overreach by the federal government in violation of our Second Amendment rights. “I was trying to figure out why people weren’t being more proactive about this, Reed said. “Then I realized I’m part of the problem. It takes somebody to stand up and say, ‘Hey, we’re not going to accept this. We’re against it.’ “We want Americans who feel the same way to come out. We want to stand up, be united and get our point across.” To Read More…..
My Take – You know, I am really amazed at this. Few seem to mind when the government violates Section Seven of the Constitution; the 1st, 4th, 5th, 10th , 16th amendments of the Constitution; the overturning of how Senators re chosen with the passage of the 17th amendment, or that the Congress has allowed the Supreme Court to virtually destroy the separation of powers created in the Constitution. The current administration passes bills that are so massively expensive that the national debt is almost un-payable; generate huge regulatory burdens on businesses that makes their financial stability borderline; formulate policies that are clearly putting more people on government dole than getting jobs; cause a financial situation where homeowners are going to go through another period of bank repositions and generally destroy the economy and the American way of life. But make an outright attack on the 2nd amendment to take American’s guns away and they will go nuts. Was this outrage unpredictable? Only to those living on the edge areas of the country. For those living in the middle of the country….it was completely predictable.
Oh….by the way. Did anyone notice that your SSI taxes went back up starting this month? “This increase in payroll taxes will be noticed by most of us. According to Neil Irwin writing in the Washington Post, "For someone who makes the U.S. average for private sector workers of $818.69 a week and is paid every other week, that adds up to a reduction of $32.75 in each paycheck. For higher earners, anyone making over $113,700 annually, each bi-weekly paycheck will decline by $87.46." So then if you work you will pay more taxes…..no matter what your income is. For those who don’t get it……there are no personal deductions on Social Security taxes. You pay on the gross income, not your adjusted income when you declare your income tax in April. There is no refund on SSI taxes…..and it is a tax ….. no matter what they say.
