Events at Home and Around the World

Some Events From Around the Nation:

Rhode Island: The Ocean State became the first state to mandate workplace accommodations for menopause. Amending the Fair Employment Practices Act, Democrat Governor Daniel McKee signed into law House Bill No. 6161 that mandates workplace accommodations for applicants and employees experiencing menopause and related medical conditions. If the employer can demonstrate that the accommodation would pose an undue hardship on their business, they are exempt. So, if someone just interviews at the company, they can also seek an accommodation – yikes!

Minnesota:  Looks like Minneapolis might elect a communist mayor. Rather than endorse incumbent Mayor Jacob Frey, the communists in the Democrat party went with State Senator Omar Fateh. Fateh sprouts the same Karl Marx lingo that Zohran Mamdani does in New York City. Fateh, a self-described democratic socialist (a nice way of saying communist), is the the son of Somali immigrants, and is running on a platform that includes introducing rent control, raising minimum wage and combating police violence. Now the general race is between Fateh and Frey. Just like in the Big Apple, we will learn in November if the Democrat Party is officially what we already know: the Communist-Democrat Party.

Events From Around the Globe

Czech Republic: Czech President Petr Pavel recently signed a law making it a criminal offense to promote communism. The Czech people intimately know the horrors of communism/Nazism/Marxism/socialism and want to be sure young generations don’t have their minds twisted with these horrible “isms.” The Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM), led by MEP Kateřina Konečná and now part of a new electoral alliance called “Stačilo” (“Enough”), condemned the move as politically motivated. (Bet they would vote for Mamdani in New York City!)

Many nations seeing an upswing in support for communism/Nazism/Marxism/socialism support never personally suffered under that ideology: Australia, Britain, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States.

Britain:  In “Britain Waves the White Flag to Islamization and Illegal immigration,” Melanie Phillips writes:

* Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s Labour government is increasingly surrendering to Islamization while presiding over a poisonous culture of antisemitism that’s roaring out of control. * Britain already has an estimated 1.2 million illegal migrants, with one in every 13 people in London thought to be there illegally. * … The report, commissioned by the Board of Deputies of British Jews, the country’s largest Jewish-community organization, found antisemitism to be pervasive in the health service, universities and the arts.

Germany: Prime Minister Friedrich Merz, who assumed office on May 6, is following through on campaign promises to tone down the nation’s previous liberal immigration policies. For instance, dismantling fast-track citizenship pathways for foreign workers. The government realizes that citizenship should come AFTER the immigrant has embraced Germany’s culture, not before.

Poland:  The right leaning political group Konfederacja has been organizing anti-immigration protests throughout the country. Konfederacja co-chairman Krzysztof Bosak told protestors in the eastern city of Bialystok (and this will sound so familiar to MAGAs): "Without closing Poland to illegal immigration, without starting deportation campaigns, without abandoning political correctness... security will gradually deteriorate."

Israel: The Knesset passed a non-binding resolution (71-13) with conservative coalition support declaring that Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley are an inseparable part of the State of Israel. Seventy-one lawmakers (including Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu) then called on the government to officially apply Israeli law, jurisdiction and administration to all Jewish communities in these territories.
