Lost in the Twilight Zone

Democrats do not know what to do. Their scams are receiving public scrutiny as Americans learn how their tax dollars have been “spent.” Instead of analyzing the situation to best improve their chances in the 2026 midterms, many Democrats are doubling down on insanity. President Trump’s “shock and awe” (and it’s just been one month!) are throwing the communist leaning Democrats off balance. Here is a sample of their recent comments:

• Senator Elizabeth Warren, Massachusetts; rally on January 30, 2025 “There is nothing in the Constitution that says ordinary Americans have a right to see what we’re spending tax dollars on.”
• Senator Chris Van Hollen, Maryland; protest at Treasury Department; Feb. 4, 2025 “What we’re witnessing here is the biggest heist in American history.”
• Rep. Greg Casar, Texas; Republican-led House Oversight Committee hearing; Feb. 5, 2025 “I’m told that this hearing is about rightsizing government, so I propose that we start rightsizing our federal government by firing the most dangerous man in it—and that’s Elon Musk.”
• Moe Vela, former senior adviser to President Joe Biden; U.S. World News & Report, February 6, 2025 Democrats have ... “No solutions, no proposals, no counter. You could stand up and say it’s wrong, but you’ve got to come up with something. You’ve got to convince the American people and the electorate that you have a more viable alternative.”
• Rep. Melanie Stansbury, New Mexico; call with media, February 7, 2025—announced she and Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin are introducing a bill in the House called “Nobody Elected Elon Musk Act.” In discussing putting federal employees on PAID leave: “Now I know the question on everyone’s mind is, ‘how can they do this? How is this legal?’ And the answer is, ‘it’s not. It’s not legal,'”
• House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, New York; press release, Feb. 10, 2025 “We are engaged in a multifaceted struggle to protect and defend everyday Americans from the harm inflicted by this administration.”

Let’s close with what House Speaker Mike Johnson said on February 11:

The Democratic party is in a completely different place right now. There’s no identified leader of the party. They don’t have a clear vision. They just seem rudderless. In hopes of finding themselves, they’ve latched onto this new shiny object called ‘the rule of law.’ We’d like to welcome them to the concept. It would be more admirable if they hadn’t spent the last four years with their heads buried in the sand while Biden literally trampled over the rule of law without objection.

In fact, many Democrats cheered that lawlessness, like when the Biden Administration unconstitutionally forced the middle class to pay the student loans of doctors and lawyers. They illegally mandated that private companies implement vaccine requirements. They radically rewrote Title IX to undermine women’s rights. Those things were actually illegal. The Democratic party cheered it on; they didn’t oppose it at all.

The Democrat party is lost in a cornucopia of delusion, but there's no nutritional value in delusion.
