Kamala Attacks Israel During Civil Rights Commemoration - March 4, 2024 - “The Israeli government must do more to significantly increase the flow of aid… No excuses”.   There is a timing for everything and Kamala Harris specifically picked this particular location to launch her verbal assault on Israel. The location is the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, often used by Democrats to wrap themselves in the ‘bloody sheet’ and stage attacks on Republicans. There’s nothing coincidental about it. Sometimes politicians have to upstage a pre-scheduled event to react to some breaking crisis, but that’s not the case here. There was no urgent story that Kamala was commenting on that required upstaging the Edmund Pettus Bridge commemoration. But much like Hamas supporters have sabotaged every event and made it about them, Kamala decided to take a black civil rights event and make it about Arab Muslim terrorists in Gaza.......

California Demolished Dam to Save Salmon, Killed the Salmon Instead - March 4, 2024 - Mission accomplished. California, which is in a state of perpetually self-inflicted drought, restricts all sorts of practical water solutions based they would hurt some living creature somewhere. (People, especially farmers, don’t count.) And along the way the state decided to demolish a dam to help some salmon. The destruction was celebrated by environmentalists and rubber-stamped by the media..............

My Take - Leftist are so wrong so often if being wrong was a corporation, they'd be a monopoly, and the green movement is that unendingly.   Worse yet, they're like rust, they never sleep, they never stop, and they never fail to deliver dystopia.  That's history, and that history is incontestable.

Biden’s Border Helplessness is a Political Hoax - March 3, 2024 - Why didn’t Biden sign a border executive order? Because he wants to fake helplessness.  Media outlets had been hyping a proposed Biden executive order reducing asylum by illegal migrants for weeks leading up to his trip to the border. The executive order, proposed by some in the Biden administration, had gone far enough to be evaluated by the Office of Legal Counsel and should have been announced at the border trip. It would not have fixed the problem, but it might have reduced the scope a little bit. Instead, the Biden administration apparently calculated that it wouldn’t receive enough credit for the order to compensate for the backlash and the legal battles with leftist open borders groups, and that it would undermine the administration’s larger message that it’s helpless to act unless Congress passes some sort of amnesty deal like the Senate border agreement that has been DOA in the House............

Google Co-Founder Pretends Woke AI is an Accident - March 5, 2024 - It’s not an accident, it’s an outcome.   AIs are like parrots. They repeat things without understanding what they’re saying. The Chinese Room effect leads to things that fool us into thinking that the AI understands what’s being discussed. In other words, they are, what they’ve been made to be. Blank vessels guided by rules and defined by data sets. A lot of what goes into the hopper may be woke, but it’s not just because AI is repeating things. It’s repeating what it was told to repeat. Google’s Gemini/Bard AI was following its instructions all too well when it produced diverse everything, from Founding Fathers to Nazis, while demeaning and insulting conservatives. And Google’s insistence on pretending otherwise is insulting............

Trump’s Ballot, the Supreme Court and the Overton Window - March 5, 2024 - This is the trend going forward.   Why did the Supreme Court reject out of hand a theory that the former president could be disqualified from appearing on state ballots because individual Democrat state officials decided, on their own, that he was an insurrectionist? Because it was a ridiculous fringe theory. Justice Sotomayor tried and failed to rally fellow lefty justices to get behind much of a dissent.....
