This Is Why NATO Is Stumbling Towards a Crisis

NATO is slouching towards crisis. Beneath a facade of solidarity in the face of Russian revanchism, the Atlantic alliance is facing potentially its stiffest existential test since the end of the Cold War as questions emerge over the kind of organization it claims to be—versus what it does in practice. Controversy is nothing new to the twenty-eight-member club; the NATO mission in Afghanistan, for example, underscored sharp divisions between member states’ willingness and ability to participate in faraway stabilization missions. My Take - I predict NATO will be gone within five years for a number of reasons. First and foremost....the EU will be gone, and most of Europe won't be anything we can recognize. There's going to be civil war and bankruptcy throughout Europe. There'll be nothing to defend. America has been operating under the Bretton Woods concepts since WWII but that takes enormous amounts of money. We're broke! American foreign policy will shift inward and won't be engaging the world as it's policeman.

These countries with unending crises will be on their own, and they've always been broke but funded by blithering idiots thinking there will some sort of benefit for them.  As for funding radicals - they can be appeased - Saudi Arabia is one good example.

But as the world's economy collapses in the next few years that will end.  These primitive medieval Muslim societies with modern weaponry and communications disintegrate into chaos.  The so-called "radical" Muslims will be at war with one another and everyone in their surrounding areas unendingly.

Just is Syria is now.....that will be the entire Middle East and any country harboring a large Muslim population.
