Report Confirms: Russia Is Responsible for Downed Malaysian Jet, Bringing War to Europe

Daniel Kochis

Putin’s Russia is not a friend that can be bargained with......Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2014, annexed Crimea a few weeks later, and continues to fight a war in the Donbas region against Ukrainian government forces. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has cost more than 9,600 lives and resulted in over 22,000 injuries since April 2014. The shooting down of the civilian airliner in 2014 threatened to turn worldwide public opinion further against Russia. As a result, Russian propaganda conjured up a flurry of alternative absurd conspiracy theories mostly blaming Ukraine for the shoot-down. Russia’s disinformation campaign and trolls have targeted investigators looking into MH17, and Russia is also believed to be behind a 2015 cyberattack of the Dutch Safety Board.....To Read More.....

My Take - Okay, Russia is being run by.....ooops.....Thugs!  Really?  Wow!  I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, but only because it wasn't that many years ago the same media that's outraged over Putin's actions these days were the same media that promoted, praised and defended the thugs who murdered tens of millions of their own people when it was the Soviet Union, of which Putin, as a KGB official, was a part.

What's changed?  Well, for one thing......Hillary apparently doesn't like Putin.  Well....of course that changes everything!  Now Putin is a thug - and evil - because he seemingly doesn't care what the "smartest woman in the world" thinks.  Imagine that!

We need to understand we're coming to an end of the Bretton Woods era.  Although the Bretton Woods agreement ended in 1971 by Richard Nixon, the mentality and system put into place by Bretton Woods still exists.  But we're going broke.  Within five years America will pull back from foreign involvement in the affairs of other regions unless it directly impacts America.

The Ukraine is toast.  Putin needs to control that area for a number of reasons, both economic and military.  And make no mistake about this - the world is going to let him - because Europe is broke, and even though they will fill compassion for the Ukrainians suffering, they'll do nothing, and no one else in the world cares about the Ukraine!

As for U.S. and Putin going to war over this - Putin doesn't have the financial or tactical wherewithal to start a major war with anyone outside of his sphere of influence.  And America isn't going to waste money or lives to stop him.

Everything else is hyperbole, including this authors opinions.
