A Maryland public high school has been accused of disseminating radical Islamic propaganda to students in a federal lawsuit filed on Wednesday. La Plata High School in Charles County, Maryland, was named in a lawsuit filed by the Thomas More Law Center after it was reported that children were forced to memorize the Five Pillars of Islam, required to recite the Muslim statement of faith, and taught that “the faith of a Muslim is stronger than the average Christian.” According to Fox News, TMLC filed the suit on behalf of John Wood, an 8-year Marine veteran, and his wife Melissa, the parents of a teenage student at the school......Although it was unclear what was said during Wood’s complaints to the school, he received a phone call a few days later notifying him that he was no longer allowed on school property.Wood maintains that he never threatened physical harm to anyone; the lawsuit contended that the ban is “retaliatory.”......Instead of being factually based, much of curriculum sounds like emotionally driven Islamic propaganda being used to soften opinions and perspectives about Islam and its radical sects. Americans must be wary of sneaky tactics like these that are slowly eroding our religious liberties.
