Daniel Greenfield On The Front Page

Biden Blocked Dozens of GOP Judicial Nominees from Hearings in Election Year - We've being hearing a whole lot of fake outrage claiming that not even scheduling hearings on a judicial nominee is unprecedented. It's not unprecedented. In election years, it's practically the norm, as  Marc A. Thiessen at WaPo lists.
Biden’s record of election-year judicial obstruction came to light in 1997, when he tried to force then-Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jesse Helms to hold a hearing on the nomination of Massachusetts Gov. William Weld to be U.S. ambassador to Mexico (I was on Helms’s committee staff at the time).  When Helms declared Weld’s nomination dead on arrival, Biden and other committee members forced Helms to convene a committee meeting, which they hoped would take up Weld’s nomination.
Instead, Helms turned the meeting into a lecture on the “History of Presidential Nominees Not Receiving Confirmation Hearings.” He presented 10 pages of charts prepared by CRS detailing 154 presidential nominations during the previous decade that had been killed without a hearing — including dozens of judicial nominations that Biden had killed.

When challenged by Helms on his record, Biden explained that the nominees in his case were different than Weld’s, because they were nominated in an election year.
Not unprecedented at all......

New Leftist Canadian Gov to Restore Citizenship of Muslim Terrorists - With Trudeau, Canada has its own Obama and the results are exactly what you would expect.
The federal Liberals are getting started on repealing some of the previous government’s sweeping — and controversial — changes to how people get or lose Canadian citizenship.  But the Liberal plan promises to be controversial in its own right, since it would, if passed, restore the Canadian citizenship of Zakaria Amara — sentenced in 2010 for his role as a member of the so-called Toronto 18.  Immigration Minister John McCallum introduced a new bill Thursday that, if passed, would remove terrorism or other crimes against the national interest as grounds for revoking citizenship from dual nationals.
That's certainly good news for ISIS members.....

Bernie Sanders' "Truther" Adviser Says Israel Bigger Threat Than ISIS - The debates made it clear that Bernie Sanders does not understand foreign policy. And when it comes to trying to understand it, he has reached out to extremists and fringe figures.
Lawrence Wilkerson, who served as chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell — and who harshly criticized Bush’s 2003 invasion of Iraq — said that he has given Sanders his advice.  He has also said that Vice President Dick Cheney should be "in jail for war crimes" and that some Republicans, including John McCain were "bordering on being traitors" for their opposition to President Barack Obama's Iran nuclear deal.
Lawrence Wilkerson is basically the sort of guy you see being interviewed on Al Jazeera or quoted at DailyKos and his views are not only crazy, but he has a special level of crazy hatred stocked up for the Jewish state.......
How American Soldiers Used Pig’s Blood and Corpses to Fight Muslim Terrorism - Before political correctness, our soldiers were free to fight back. A century before American soldiers fought Muslim terrorism in the Middle East, they fought it in the Philippines. Their attackers were Moro Muslims whose savage fanaticism appeared inexplicable. A formerly friendly Muslim might suddenly attack American soldiers, local Muslim rulers promised friendship while secretly aiding the terrorists and the yellow left-wing press at home seized on every report of an atrocity to denounce American soldiers as murderers whose honor was forever soiled.

Much of what went on in that conflict, including the sacrifices of our soldiers, has been forgotten. The erasure has been so thorough that the media casually claims that the American forces did not use pig corpses and pig’s blood to deter Muslim terrorists. Media fact checks have deemed it a “legend”.
It’s not a legend. It’s history......
