NAACP, the Embodiment of Inept Hypocrisy

May 22, 2023 — John Hinderaker

The NAACP has been a worthless organization for a long time, but its latest DNC-echoing attack on the State of Florida–it issued a “travel advisory”–may represent a new low:

"Under the leadership of Governor Desantis, the state of Florida has become hostile to Black Americans and in direct conflict with the democratic ideals that our union was founded upon." — NAACP President and CEO @DerrickNAACP Take a stand with us.

Of course, it quickly turned out that the NAACP’s leaders have bravely ventured into hostile territory, like tens of millions of other Americans.......... the coup de grĂ¢ce: the NAACP’s Chairman lives in Florida. So the Florida GOP volunteered to pay his moving expenses if he wants to leave......... We see this every day: liberals don’t mean the things they say. They churn out propaganda that they know to be false, usually because they are well paid to do so. Producing vicious smears is all in a day’s work......... To Read More....

The NAACP appeals to the Justice Department on behalf of vacationing lawmakers.

Articles, Opinion, Politics @ Liberty Nation News

Editor's Note:  This was lost in my Draft File, so it's out of date, but these are points that need to be made.  RK

Of all the silly ploys the left has pulled lately, this one takes the proverbial cake. The NAACP, which used to be a leading civil rights group, is calling on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate Texas state Republican lawmakers for threatening to have Texas Democrats arrested. Will the plea fall on deaf ears?

NAACP Cries ‘Foul’

When Gov. Greg Abbott called a special session last month to vote on a new election law and other legislative priorities, a gaggle of Texas lawmakers fled the state for a taxpayer-funded vacation in Washington, D.C. Their absence meant there could be no quorum in the state legislature preventing a vote on the bill. In response, Abbott as well as other GOP officials threatened to arrest the Democrat lawmakers and compel them to attend the proceedings. This action did not sit well with the NAACP. Associated Press reported:

“NAACP President Derrick Johnson sent the letter late Wednesday to Kristen Clarke, who runs the Justice Department’s civil rights division. In the letter, Johnson said he had conferred with at least three of the Democrats who had been threatened with arrest and agreed that federal authorities should step in to investigate.”

In the letter, Johnson also argued: “At this time when political minorities are threatened with being rounded up and imprisoned in Texas, the eyes of the country and the world are upon DOJ and how it deals with Texas’s actions.”

On Wednesday, the Texas House of Representatives issued civil arrest warrants for each Democrat avoiding the legislature. According to AP: “Refusing to attend legislative sessions is a violation of House rules — a civil offense, not a criminal one, leaving the power the warrants carry to get Democrats back to the chamber unclear, even for the Republicans who invoked it.”

Johnson argued that the DOJ “could determine that the Texas governor and Republican members of the Texas House have openly conspired” to violate civil rights law. The NAACP head also averred that if the DOJ does not act, “it is more than likely that those intent upon subverting democracy in Texas will be successful in their efforts” and that the state “will be able to jail and detain those who stand up to those in power.”

Where Will This Lead?

The possibility that the DOJ will heed the NAACP’s request seems like a longshot. Texas is not the only state in which state lawmakers can be arrested for avoiding the legislature. Indeed, in 2019, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown ordered the state police to round up Republicans who fled to Idaho to scupper a vote on climate change legislation. Oddly enough, the NAACP did not have any complaints back then.

Go figure.

Furthermore, it is worth pointing out how unlikely it is that anyone at the DOJ will believe Johnson’s contention that the state government in Texas will become some kind of tyrannical force, locking up anyone who disagrees with it. But either way, one must give him credit for trying.

The NAACP’s Counterfactual Claim About Racial Inequity in Police Stops

By James D. Agresti May 25, 2021

In a recent Newsweek article, senior reporter Jason Lemon alleges there is “significant data showing” that the U.S. is plagued by “systemic racism.” As evidence of this, he claims the “NAACP found that from 2017 to 2020, Black men were five times more likely than white people to be stopped by law enforcement without a valid reason.”  The hyperlink Lemon uses to support that claim leads to another article by Lemon, which links to an earlier article by Lemon, which dead ends with no link or reference to an actual study or data.

A search of the NAACP website revealed a “Criminal Justice Fact Sheet“ that claims: “A Black person is five times more likely to be stopped without just cause than a white person.” The “fact sheet” contains no link or evidence for this claim.  Just Facts emailed the NAACP three weeks ago requesting proof of its statistic and then followed up a day later with a phone call and an email. The NAACP never replied.......

Like other accusations of systemic racism, these claims of Newsweek and the NAACP about unjust police stops have no demonstrable basis in reality. Moreover, they are undercut by the research of scholars who buried vital results deep within their publications. False accusations of racism have a range of harmful and even deadly effects, including but not limited to:

  • stoking strife and violence between people of different races.
  • forging victim mentalities, which are associated with weak self-control and less ability to persist in challenging tasks.
  • misidentifying the causes of poverty and other social ills, which can impede their resolution or worsen them.

Oh To Be a Democrat in New Jersey

Posted by Daniel Greenfield 0 Comments Monday, September 09, 2019 @ Sultan Knish Blog

NAACP President Jeffrey Dye had a record of threatening his brother with a knife, getting caught with six bags of crack cocaine, assaulting police officers on two separate occasions, so of course he was appointed to work for the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development.

Governor Phil Murphy’s Dem administration had previously appointed Al Alvarez, his guy in charge of Latino and Muslim outreach, accused of trying to rape one of his staffers during the campaign, as chief of staff the New Jersey Schools Development Authority. The last time Dye had gotten in trouble was when he had been charged with aggravated assault after a confrontation with 3 police officers in 2007.

That’s not counting the time he failed to file campaign finance reports while running for public office.

Dye morphed into a perennial Democrat candidate, running and losing one election after another, and headed Passaic’s NAACP chapter. As Rachel Dolezal, a white woman claiming to be black, who headed the Spokane NAACP chapter, showed the organization doesn’t have high standards for chapter leaders.

But Dye met the most crucial standard that the Murphy administration cared about. He supported Phil Murphy. You can be a rapist or threaten your brother with a knife, all you need to do is back Phil.

Phil is a former Goldman Sachs exec, DNC finance chair and Obama’s Ambassador to Germany.

Last year, Dye’s NAACP announced that it was honoring Marcellus Jackson at its “2nd Annual Freedom Fund Community Service Award Luncheon.” It mentioned that Marcellus, a former Passaic City Council member, was working as a special assistant in the Department of Education’s Office of Civic and Social Engagement. The reason Marcellus was a former member of the Passaic City Council was because the FBI had busted him for taking bribes and he was sentenced to 25 months in prison.

After pleading guilty, Marcellus had echoed General Douglas MacArthur, intoning, “I shall return.”

New Jersey Democrats made sure that Marcellus did.

Dye, who had tried and failed to secure Marcellus’ old position, was honoring the corrupt politician. And the NAACP invitation alerted everyone to the fact that an ex-con public official who had taken bribes was working for the state on a mission to "advance public education in New Jersey."

"I hope we see a lot more of this, that somebody made a mistake, they admitted it, they repented, they paid their price," Governor Murphy said, the unconfirmed crook defending his decision to hire a confirmed crook. "We have to get these folks back up on their feet in society and this state."

If New Jersey hadn’t charitably hired a corrupt politician, he might have starved on the streets.

Instead, Phil gave Marcellus a $70,000 a year job. But perhaps Governor Murphy was hoping that one day a future corrupt Democrat politician will be equally charitable to him.

Mayor Frank Jackson of Cleveland had been very charitable to Lance Mason, another disgraced fellow Democrat, after he violently assaulted his wife. The former judge got a job in the Minority Business Development Administrator for Cleveland before going back and brutally murdering his ex-wife.

“We hire many ex-felons and almost all of them turn out well because we have second chance as a part of what we do as a policy in the City of Cleveland,” Mayor Jackson insisted.

New Jersey, which is almost entirely run by criminals, will always give criminals a second, third and fourth chance. As long as they vote for the Democrats a second, third and fourth time.

And so back in New Jersey, Jeffrey Dye was working for the state despite a record as long as his arm, which included threatening his brother with a knife, getting caught with six bags of cocaine, which he claimed were someone else’s, and giving the police somebody else’s license after an accident. Then there were the multiple violent confrontations with police officers and stuffing food in a prison toilet.

Despite his plum job, Dye spent his time ranting about Jews and Latinos on Facebook.

He blamed Jews for a hip-hop feud between two black stars, “Jews At it again divide & conquering us.” Under an entry about the New York Times’ 1619 Project, Dye ranted that, “american has no business giving our tax paying dollars to israel to kill palestinians & enslave africans & using both for their body parts.” He also praised racist Nation of Islam hate group leader, Louis Farrakhan.

Dye had also attacked former New Jersey SDA boss Lizette Delgado-Polanco, a union activist and Murphy backer, who was paid $225,000 to head the Schools Development Authority, and began spending money like crazy, firing existing employees and replacing them with SEIU thugs and relatives.

Delgado-Polcano had brought in the mother of her grandchild, a friend of her daughter’s, her old SEIU district leader, and the SEIU district leader’s daughter-in-law, and her former SEIU executive director, a former SEIU vice president, and her own second cousin, who had been accused of sexual harassment.

Criticizing Delgado-Polcano in racial terms, who is, despite her departure a key labor ally for Murphy, probably sealed Dye’s fate. But Governor Murphy defended hiring Dye despite his criminal record.

"People, if they make reparations, if they make up for what they’ve done, I’d like to be the state where folks get a second chance," the Democrat insisted.

Meanwhile pressure was mounting on Dye to resign as head of the Passaic NAACP.

When David Wildstein, a New Jersey Globe reporter, who had closely covered Dye’s case, contacted the former government employee, the Farrakhan supporter snapped back, “I don’t talk to f____ Jews.”

Later, on Facebook, Dye claimed that he had never said that and that it was a Jewish conspiracy.

"The Statement ( “I Don’t Talk To F_____ Jews” ) Is Simply A Lie By David Wallstien Who Is A Jewish Reporter For The New Jersey Globe," the Democrat perennial candidate ranted. "What You Are Seriously Watching Here Is “COINTELPRO & JEWISH MEDIA PROPAGANDA ASSASSINATION HIT TEAM.”

Following a common trope of leftist bigots, Dye insisted that he was an anti-Zionist who was "Telling The Truth About Israel & The Killing & Murder Of The Palestinian People" rather than an ordinary bigot.

Then he insisted that it was a plot by "former Republicans" to "Use Me Against Our Governor Phil Murphy Who They Are Really After & Their Using Me & Others Like Me To Tarnish Our Governor Phil Murphy So He’s Not Successful In His Re-Election."

"And Yes I Personally Still Support Governor Phil Murphy," he later also tweeted.

Dye concluded his Facebook rant by warning that, "They Want To Disrupt & Dismantle & Get Rid Of The Passaic NAACP And Me The President. When You Have Any Real Activist That Speaks Like I Do He’s A Threat & Dangerous To Any Racist That’s Trying To Destroy Black & Latino People To Advance Their Cause To Dictate & Control This World."

Jeffrey Dye’s concern for Muslim rights is surprising though considering that his first altercation occurred back in 1994 when he got into an argument with a Muslim convenience store owner over lottery tickets.

According to media accounts, it concluded when the store owner "allegedly grabbed a machete he kept under the counter, leaped over the counter, and threatened Dye with it.”

It’s unknown if the Muslim store owner with the machete is working for the State of New Jersey.

NAACP Shows Its Irrelevance by Recommending Trump's Impeachment

Larry Elder Aug 01, 2019

At the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's annual convention in Detroit, delegates unanimously recommended that the House of Representatives impeach President Donald Trump. For what?

Derrick Johnson, the NAACP's president, said: "The pattern of Trump's misconduct is unmistakable and has proven time and time again that he is unfit to serve as the president of this country. ... This president has led one of the most racist and xenophobic administrations since the Jim Crow era." Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, who introduced an unsuccessful motion for impeachment, argues that the President's "racist comments" constitute sufficient grounds for impeachment.

Just how much harm has "racist" Trump done to blacks?.........To Read More....

Guess what the NAACP thinks of Trump's AG pick

By Lloyd Marcus January 4, 2017

Well, who in the world could have seen this coming?  Answer: everyone!  The modern racist NAACP is staging a sit-in outside Jeff Sessions's office, trying to brand Trump's pick for attorney general a white racist.   I say, "Fine, have at it."  These deplorables on the left are so yesterday – living in the past, thinking their tattered Playbook for Destroying Republicans still works. Trump's victory told everyone willing to face reality that the left's standard old tactics for stopping Republicans no longer work – at least not with this administration.

NeverTrump Republicans, Democrats, Hollywood, and the mainstream media (abandoning all pretense of objectivity) placed their hands atop each other on the red button.  In desperation, they pushed it, dropping a nuclear bomb of negativity squarely on the head of Mr. Trump.  And still, he prevailed.
Do not get me wrong, folks.  I am not saying we should lower our guard or ignore the left's attacks.  Quite the opposite.  Trump's popularity confirms that Americans feel that it is time to get in the left's face, to call them out on their lies, bullying, and blatant hypocrisy........Read more

The Tantrums Begin: NAACP ‘Occupies’ Jeff Sessions’ Office in Protest

Stephen Kruiser January 4, 2017, 2:59 am As we have seen since November 8th, American leftists aren’t handling being denied an electoral participation trophy. Parents of toddlers know that any tantrum can be waited out, but when the toddler fits are coming from grownups they can keep finding ways to prolong them. With the reality of their failure even more real now that Inauguration Day is close, they are just going to stomp their feet louder.
Six NAACP demonstrators were arrested after occupying the Mobile office of Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, calling for him to turn down his controversial nomination to become the next U.S. Attorney General.
More than a dozen protesters entered the office around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Benard Simelton, president of the Alabama State Conference of the NAACP, told the Daily News from Sessions’ office.
“Our objective is certainly to stop his nomination,” Simelton said, “but our objective is also to get out the word to people in power to stop it.”

NAACP President Cornell William Brooks was among those sitting in Sessions’ office, and said at 7:30 p.m. that he and his fellow protesters were about to be arrested after the building manager requested that they leave.
This particular tantrum is rooted in the ongoing Democrat lie about voter suppression. Any attempt to avert fraud is portrayed as a return to 1960. Sessions is Public Enemy Number One for having prosecuted voter fraud.......To Read More....

Zone of Reality: Castro Notes

By Rich Kozlovich

How do these people sleep at night? It is clear that nothing is as it seems. Why do prominent people tout twisted destructive philosophies that are designed to overturn every traditional stable concept that exists? What are their goals? I have concluded that there is something wrong with these people mentally and morally because this has been the pattern in the universities that became infested by the by Herbert Marcuse  and the Frankfurt School people who fled Hitler’s Germany in the 1930's.

However, the universities’ leaders were already infested with "intellectuals" like Margaret Mead who were working to overturn the moral structure of western society, and based on their own lives, one could believe it was an attempt to justify their own moral failures. These “original thinkers”  have left devastation in their wake. So the pattern among “modern” thinkers was that nothing is right, nothing is wrong, everything is subjective. This has laid the groundwork for this kind of thinking today. We have lost our way! We have lost our minds.

Lincoln Center Sponsors Jazz for Castro-Stalinism

By Humberto Fontova

Multi-Grammy-winner Wynton Marsalis, who serves as artistic director for jazz at the Lincoln Center, also serves as an official "United Nations Messenger of Peace." On Martin Luther King Day 2006, Mr Marsalis addressed Tulane University, quoting Dr King's words and hailing his deeds. "Dr. King's actions made his dream our reality," Marsalis beamed. ….. Wynton Marsalis and his Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra spent all of last week as grateful guests of a Stalinist/Apartheid regime that murdered more political prisoners in its first three years in power than Hitler's murdered in its first six and that jailed political prisoners at a higher rate than Stalin did.

Among these victims were the longest-suffering black political prisoners in modern history. Within walking distance of where Wynton Marsalis and his Lincoln Center jazz luminaries hobnobbed with Castro officials at Havana's Teatro Mella, black political prisoners were being tortured for the crime of publicly quoting the works of Marin Luther King and the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights. Among these prisoners is Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet, an Amnesty International prisoner of conscience who was awarded (obviously in absentia) the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bush in 2008…… But have you ever heard of…. any of the other black Cuban heroes [from] CNN….60 Minutes…The New York Times…Washington Post [or] NPR during Black History Month….History Channel or A and E?

Ever hear the NAACP or Congressional Black Caucus mention them?
