Have you seen more than one of the movies nominated for best picture this year at the Oscars? The answer is probably not. While two of the nominees actually found sizable audiences (Dunkirk and Get Out), the rest of the field consists of small movies the general public doesn’t care about. My Take - For years Hollywood spewed out trash and then told the public if they didn't like it don't see it. Well....they're getting their wish.
Sports and Hollywood are entertainment enterprises where the participants forgot they produce nothing society needs. They're the beneficiaries of a financially successful society who may enjoy what they do - but no one needs them!
Sports is about watching grown men play kid's games for obscene amounts of money whose egos out of control, and Hollywood is about people who are better than most at memorizing lines someone else wrote and repeating them at someone else's direction on stage or before a camera, and somehow they're under the impression that qualifies them to tell us how the world should function?
In the real world - no one cares two farts about what they think.
Most of them will be out of work in a few years and broke, and no one will care. But best of all - we won't have to listen to their idiotic rants any longer.
