The McCabe, Comey, Brennen, Strzok, Page (And a Whole Bunch of Others) Affair.

Editor's Note: Here are a few articles dealing with the McCabe firing.  I will present "My Take" at the end.  RK

If You Are a Fed Official, Perjury Is 'Lacking Candor'

By Clarice Feldman March 18, 2018

Friday night was a big night for news hawks…………I'm talking about the firing of Andrew McCabe, who doubtless acted under the impression that rigging things at the FBI for Hillary Clinton was the path to higher office and glory………McCabe, the former deputy director and then acting director of the FBI, was fired by Attorney General………"Lacking candor under oath" is the operative phrase.  If it were you or I, the charge by a special prosecutor would be perjury.  Ask Lewis Libby or General Mike Flynn.

Of note, the President had nothing to do with this; the recommendation came from within the FBI itself based on its analysis of the report it received from the Justice Department's inspector general, an Obama appointee.  Bear this in mind when you read McCabe's response and the twist the major media are putting on the firing.

Note also "Under oath – on multiple occasions."  This suggests but does not prove that McCabe was also interrogated by the outside lawyer the attorney general appointed some time ago to look into the handling of the Clinton email matter by the FBI and Department of Justice officials involved……….To Read More….

You can stop looking for Attorney General Jeff Sessions on the back of a milk carton.  Confronted by overwhelming evidence in a report by the DOJ's Office of Inspector General (OIG) and a rare recommendation from the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), he has fired liar and leaker Andrew McCabe in a move that can only be a harbinger for indictments to come that go beyond these offenses against honor and the law.  In his response to his firing, McCabe lied again, ignoring his multitude of offenses only to whine about persecution by a vindictive President Trump:
“For the last year and a half, my family and I have been the targets of an unrelenting assault on our reputation and my service to this country.  Articles too numerous to count have leveled every sort of false, defamatory and degrading allegation against us.  The President's tweets have amplified and exacerbated it all. He called for my firing.  He called for me to be stripped of my pension after more than 20 years of service.  And all along we have said nothing, never wanting to distract from the mission of the FBI by addressing the lies told and repeated about us.”
Never mind the "lack of candor" (aka lies) the OPR and OIG have charged you with, or the self-serving leaking of confidential information to a reporter.  Come to think of it, your former boss, James Comey, did the same thing.  He taught you well………….. McCabe was part of the corrupt criminal enterprise………. McCabe's firing is a well deserved outcome.  But he shouldn't sweat the loss of his pension.  Federal prison inmates get free room and board...........Read more
McCabe's firing begins the war on the Deep State

By Richard Jack Rail March 18, 2018

We can expect liberaldom to come unglued following the firing of Andrew McCabe, erstwhile second in command at the FBI, just 24 hours before his lucrative government pension kicked in. McCabe had made "unauthorized disclosures to the news media" (leaked confidential information) and "lacked candor – including under oath – on multiple occasions" (lied to the FBI). For the latter alone, he could have been bankrupted, as Bob Mueller bankrupted Mike Flynn………..With the McCabe firing, the Trump administration declares war on the lawless Deep State. One just hopes there are enough honest, courageous people left in the FBI and the Justice Department to carry through the nasty work ahead. We should in time see virtually the entire cast of lead FBI characters under (and including) James Comey and Robert Mueller in the dock and, we can hope, all of them off to jail. The Deep State will fight back savagely..........To Read More....

The media always rewards its leakers.

George Neumayr March 16, 2018

According to Congressman Jim Jordan, speaking to Fox News, “Clapper was actually the guy leaking information” to CNN about the presidential briefing on the Steele dossier that served as the pretext for the media feeding frenzy over possible Russian blackmail of Trump.  One can only laugh at the utter fraudulence of CNN: it pads its panels with government officials who leak to it, then presents them to its audience as “nonpartisan” experts commenting on the aftershocks of the very stories they leaked.Trump’s intuition about a politicized intelligence community is confirmed daily by the rantings of its former members...............Almost all of the principals responsible for the Russian farce are confirmed liars and leakers. They said Trump Tower wasn’t the target of spying. It was. They said a FISA warrant wasn’t issued. It was. They said Trump officials weren’t unmasked. They were. They said (as even the New York Times’s Maggie Haberman acknowledged) Hillary didn’t finance the Steele dossier. She did.

Who were these compromised figures to be investigating anybody? Clapper blatantly perjured himself before Congress over the Snowden revelations. Brennan lied about the CIA spying on the Senate. Comey leaked classified information to the New York Times. Yet the press accords them the status of unimpeachable mandarins whose every utterance we should treat with the utmost gravity…………..One of the recurring themes in the Russian farce is its architects’ simultaneous claims of omniscience and ignorance. ………To Read More…

The Coming Collusion Bloodbath

Kevin McCullough Mar 18, 2018

The firing of Andrew McCabe, the discovery of his “private notes,” the ill-tempered response by other Obama loyalists and a yet to be disclosed Inspector General’s report on an investigation that began before Donald Trump had come to office are all pieces of a story that dwarfs the still absent evidence of anything Trump and company did to cooperate with Russians in changing votes in Michigan and Wisconsin.

So many Democrats and Republicans have asserted the lack of evidence in the Russian collusion issue its become comical if not annoying to endure as the uninformed continue to argue otherwise. But few have had interest in addressing a separate issue that demands attention. For while the Russians attempted mass chaos. The more serious scandal appears to have covered up criminal behavior, illicit manipulation of the FISA process, and an attempt to undo the quite serious results of an election. Is there anything more sacred in our representative republic?..........To Read More....

My Take: All the people in these articles have committed crimes. As far as I can tell – all those who’ve testified before Congress have either outright lied or obfuscated the truth, which is considered perjury for federal officials.

They’ve all claimed they have the real dope on Trump, and Comey is coming out with a book that he claims will expose who’s been lying and now we know McCabe has notes. But they’ve both already been condemned by their own words having lied to Congress, and even contradicting each other under oath. No matter what they say in the end – they committed crimes.

Brennen has said: “When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America...America will triumph over you.”

Another liar from a badly politicized intelligence agency that clearly was a partisan hack for Obama and the Clintons, and who in my opinion, did serious damage to the nation’s security.

I recently had the misfortune of seeing about five minutes of that brain dead panel of female leftist loons called The View, where one of the panelists bemoaned the attack on “our” intelligence community, and the audience applauded enthusiastically.

Where do they find their audience? They absolutely must prescreen them with IQ tests and their knowledge of current events, and in this case less is more, dumb is brilliant and ignorance is a Ph.D.

“Our intelligence community?” Did a leftist actually say that? Trust me, if “our” intelligence community was to turn around and go after Obama and Hillary – they would be screaming to disband “our” intelligence community. The left has no stable moral foundation, so everything is on or off the table depending on what works for the left.

One thing that’s not being touted much thus far, and that’s who’s going to turn first? Make no mistake about this – Page, Strzok, Lynch, or some of the many others involved in this will start making deals as soon as a real investigation starts.

These agencies were politicized and that politicization was deep and wide, but there were those who knew what went on and didn’t like it. They will gladly sing now, and they won’t have to be coerced and they won’t need a deal. And they will be very credible witnesses.

When you see the way these people have acted you can see they actually believed Hillary was a sure win and they would never have to pay for their crimes, which could easily be construed as treason. It turns out they didn’t just want her to win – they needed her to win. But make no mistake about this. Many need to go to jail, and many need to be fired. And those who need to go to jail are higher up than McCabe and Comey.

One more thing.  There was a time when perjury was considered a serious crime.  But when Bill Clinton perjured himself over his escapades, and was disbarred, the left got all self-righteous and claimed it was no big deal.  Maybe that's why these people thought perjury in their case wouldn't matter.  Well, maybe we're all going to find out perjury really is a serious crime after all - once again.
