The 2015 version of an annual survey of intelligence analysts and their managers conducted by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) discovered that 40 percent of the analysts surveyed who were working for the U.S. military’s Central Command—whose area of responsibility includes Syria and Iraq—said “they had experienced an attempt to distort or suppress intelligence in the past year.”
This survey result was affirmed in an interim report released today by a Joint Task Force formed by the chairmen of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the House Armed Services Committee and the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense.
The task force includes Rep. Ken Calvert (R.-Calif.), who is a member of the appropriations committee; Rep. Mike Pompeo (R.-Kan.), who is a member of the intelligence commmittee; and Rep. Brad Wentrup (R-Ohio), who serves on the intelligence and armed services committees......To Read More.....
