NAACP attacks Dartmouth students who threw 'Crips and Bloods' frat party

The Dartmouth College chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) harshly criticized a “Bloods and Crips” themed-party, despite apologies from the sorority and fraternity that hosted the event earlier this summer.

A fraternity and sorority at Dartmouth College have come under fire for hosting a Bloods-Crips themed party.

The strongly worded letter, penned by the NAACP chapter on campus, and signed by the Afro-American Society and the Dartmouth Chapter of the and Women of Color Collective, accuses the mostly white students of hosting a “racist” event thinly veiled by the South Los Angeles gangland theme.

“Our peers mingled for hours while dressed as bloods or Crips while using racialized language,” accused the letter, circulated on campus. “It then turned into a ‘ghetto party’ with racialized language, speech and dress. My Take – What is everyone so upset about?  I was under the impression that ‘imitation was the sincerest form of flattery’.   But it would appear that the NAACP is upset that white people are acting like black people?  Is the NAACP filled with racists?  Are we to assume that the real underlying point being made here is the NAACP thinks blacks act badly?  They didn’t come out and say that these whites were acting contrary to these black thugs, and they didn’t’ come out and condemn the actions of these thugs.  Strange …..Don’t you think? 

In fact I find this whole thing strange.  What would possess privileged white students to act like a totally dysfunctional and criminal part of black society, which is part of an even larger dysfunctional group; America’s black community as a whole?  The NAACP is so worried about this kind of thing, but where are their concerns about the 70% illegitimacy rate, high crime rate, and low employment rate, and low rate of high school graduatates within the black community?  Nothing as far as I can tell.  Why?  Because that would require them to find fault within their own community, and the leftists who have created a mentality of irresponsibility through government subsidies that promotes irresponsible behavior, and that’s not their shtick. 

There is more than enough history to show they are following policies that are destroying the black community in this country and yet claim to be for the poor and suffering in black America.  Why? Because if they can’t race bait they will cease to exist!  It’s all about the money, privilege and power....but make no mistake about this.  It isn't about having the courage do do the right thing.    So what’s new?
