Take Marco Rubio. Conservative, smart, articulate, and
unflappable, all wrapped in an ethnicity that would confound the Left’s
racist-Republican narrative. It wasn’t very long ago that most of the Right
agreed he’d make an ideal standard-bearer. Personally, I was disappointed that
Mitt Romney passed over Rubio for Paul Ryan as running mate.
What a difference a few months make. Solely by embracing
the latest “comprehensive immigration reform” push, Rubio has cast insurmountable

My Take – So Calvin was disappointed before, but he's shocked
now! You know what shocks me? How seemingly intelligent people are shocked
when people do what they say they’re going to do. If you listen carefully to what people say
they will usually tell you what they are all about, and Rubio sent waves of
signals this was going to be his position.
So now….they’re shocked, and I’m disappointed there are so many smart
people who don’t seem to understand the difference between what people say and
what they think their saying based on preconceived notions. Obama said exactly what he was going to do....and when he did it .....people were socked! Just pay attention and you will find that you’re
going to be shocked a great deal less.
