Dr. Ben Carson: ‘Opportunities Here Are More Abundant Than Anywhere Else in World’

(CNSNews.com) – In an interview about his success, after coming from a very poor background and reared by a single, illiterate mother, Presidential Medal of Freedom winner Dr. Ben Carson, a neurosurgeon and author,  said that his story was indeed “an American story” and that more opportunities exist in this country “than anywhere else in the world.”

In the interview, Star Parker, the founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), asked Dr. Carson,  “I’m sure you’ve been all over the world. Is America exceptional?
