Fight Oligarchy by Funding Bernie’s Private Jet

By Daniel Greenfield, @ Sultan Knish Blog

For only $27, you can buy a ‘Tax the Rich’ t-shirt and help an elderly progressive millionaire fly around the country to campaign against the oligarchy from the luxury of a private jet.

Sen. Bernie Sanders has been touring the country on his ‘Fighting Oligarchy Tour’ in which the elderly senator and assorted socialist sidekicks like AOC hold rallies in liberal areas to denounce big business…while doing some pretty big business.

Earlier this year, Sen. Bernie Sanders, who is 83 years old, filed to run for reelection in 2030 to be able to take office at the age of 89, and hold it until he is well in his mid 90s. Aspiring to spend nearly half a century in the halls of Congress would seem like evidence of oligarchy.

But despite having a campaign date in 2030, Bernie quickly shot to the no. 2 spot in current year campaign spending. Over $1 million went to Aisle 518 Strategies, a ‘progressive’ campaign operation created by Tim Tagaris, Bernie’s former senior advisor and digital fundraising director, for digital advertising, but as capitalists would say, you have to spend money to make money.

Over $220,000 went to private jet firms including $102K to Cirrus Aviation, which claims to have a “fleet of 30 luxury jets”, $80K to Ventura Jets, which describes itself as “New York’s Premier Luxury Jet Charter Service”, and $38K to N-Jet which pitches potential customers on “a flying experience that’s all about you in your luxury aircraft.” The social media accounts for the private jet charter firms show very wealthy people like Bernie enjoying a luxurious lifestyle.

A video clip appears to show AOC and Bernie dismounting from a Challenger 604 jet. This $5 million jet is usually used for international flights, rather than local travel the way that the two socialist politicians were using it, and offers “the ultimate experience in luxury air travel” allowing passengers to enjoy “the same comforts that one would expect at home or at a Five-Star hotel.”

Does Bernie Sanders really hate billionaires or does he just want to be one? With three houses and a net worth of over $2 million, Bernie has amassed enough to make him greedy for more.

But the most troubling thing about Bernie may be his own private little oligarchy.

The Sanders Institute was co-founded by Bernie’s wife, Jane O’Meara Sanders, previously under FBI investigation over the collapse of Burlington College over allegations of bank fraud along with a sweetheart deal for her daughter, Carina Driscoll, a perennial political candidate.

The other co-founder and CEO of the Sanders Institute is David Driscoll, Bernie’s stepson and Jane’s son, who has been paid an estimated $800,000 for his services after previously working for Burton Snowboards: a snowboarding company owned by a Bernie supporter. Its only other officially listed employee is Shana Frahm, Jane’s press secretary, who had also worked for Burton Snowboards. Jane serves as a ‘fellow’ but her compensation has not been disclosed.

The Sanders Institute is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, but its funding comes from the Bernie Sanders campaign which kicked it off with a $350,000 donation in 2020, since then $755,000 has been moved from the Sanders campaign into the Sanders Institute.

Between 2023-2024, the Sanders Institute was the second largest recipient of cash from ‘Friends of Bernie Sanders’ after his actual 2020 campaign. And this campaign cash also made up a sizable share and occasionally the majority of the money funding the Sanders Institute.

These payments to an organization founded by Bernie Sanders family members, which employs his family members, and exists to promote him were described by the campaign as a “charitable donation” even though they were obviously providing a sizable benefit to the Sanders family.

That’s part of a long history of Bernie figuring out ways to move campaign funds to his family, including creating a department run by his wife, when he served as mayor of Burlington. When he ran for Congress, she took a sizable cut of his donations by acting as his media buyer, and put her daughter on his staff.

Things escalated when Sanders backed a proposal to move nuclear waste from Vermont to a small town in Texas and to add insult to injury, Jane, despite no apparent qualification, was appointed to a paying position as an alternate commissioner for the Texas Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact Commission.

There is an inescapable pattern with Bernie’s campaigns going back decades. Between 2003 and 2004, Leadership Strategies, a consulting firm where Jane served as CEO, was the second largest recipient of Bernie’s campaign spending. The tenth was his stepdaughter. In 2016, when Sen. Bernie Sanders suddenly became a national figure, $82 million poured into a mysterious company for media buys linked to Jane’s associates. Nearly every listed job for Bernie’s wife involved benefits from his offices as mayor, congressman, senator and political candidate.

How much of that money did Bernie benefit from? He hasn’t been transparent about it.

But why does an 83-year-old man file in 2025 to run for office in 2030? Why does he go on a tour around the country? One answer is that the Sanders Institute isn’t going to fund itself.

The ‘Fighting Oligarchy’ tour claims that it’s “scaring the hell out of Elon Musk”. But mostly it’s raising money.

The front page has two seperate donate links at the top and a store where students struggling with debt can buy a “Cancel All Student Debt” sweatshirt for only $45. A ‘Tax the Rich’ t-shirt goes for $27 whose proceeds can be used to help fund Bernie’s next ride in a private jet.

Under the slogan “Not Me, Us”, the Fighting Oligarchy Tour is raising money for ‘me’ which then goes to pay for Bernie’s private jets and to subsidize members of his family.

The Bernie and AOC tour isn’t actually fighting oligarchy. It’s funding oligarchy.

Bernie Sanders: To Protect Democracy, Democrats Can’t Afford Democracy

Democracy is too important to be left to the people.

By •

Remember when Senator Bernie Sanders (I-DPPK) was the perennial fruit fly in every political salad, running doomed campaigns designed to divide the party he was temporarily claiming to be a part of? But all that is in the past. Bernie is all in on Biden which ought to tell you that Biden is really all in on Bernie’s agenda.  And, despite the fact that most Democrats, Americans, and oxygen-breathing lifeforms on the planet want another candidate who isn’t a senile 80-year-old with a propensity for corruption and hair-sniffing, the Democrats and Bernie Sanders don’t believe that there should be any competitive primaries.

Why? To protect democracy...........To Read More....

Senate Dems Host Event Celebrating Islamic Terrorists Killing Jews

By Daniel Greenfield May 17, 2023 @ Sultan Knish Blog

In Israel, Inga Avramyan, 80 years old, died under a collapsing ceiling. The elderly immigrant from Armenia heard the sirens warning of an Islamic terror strike, but did not reach the bomb shelter in time because she was trying to help her disabled husband make it along with her.

Sergei, Inga’s husband, had lost a leg in a car accident and needed a wheelchair to get around. The rocket smashed through the side of the building, the ceiling collapsed and Inga was killed.

Four days before the Islamic Jihad rocket killed Inga, Senator Bernie Sanders helped host an event promoting Islamic Jihad in the Senate building.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had canceled a House event by antisemitic politician Rep. Rashida Tlaib commemorating ‘Nakba Day’: the Arab name for mourning the failed effort by invading Muslim armies to exterminate Israel’s Jewish population.

“I think it’s outrageous that Speaker McCarthy threw them out of a room they had reserved,” Sanders fumed.

The socialist senator then arranged to have the terrorist supporters host their event promoting the destruction of the Jewish State by abusing his chairmanship of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) committee to use its hearing room.

What does the Senate’s oversight of pensions have to do with destroying Israel? Ask Bernie.

Inside the event, Noura Erakat boasted, “It is of utmost importance to say that here because we are within the very institution that has sustained the ongoing Nakba.”

The “institution” is the United States government and the ‘Nakba’ is the existence of Israel.

In Canada, Erakat had generated a political controversy when a Ontario New Democratic Party (ONDP) politician had retweeted her message calling dead Islamic Jihad leader Khader Adnan a “martyr”. In the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington D.C., Erakat read a quote about “resisting”, a euphemism for terrorism, from the dead Islamic Jihad terrorist.

Islamic Jihad is not just a problem for Israel. The terrorist group was spun off from the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamic Jihad operation in Egypt. That terror group, often described as Egyptian Islamic Jihad, to avoid confusion, became part of Al Qaeda and eventually took it over.

In the months before 9/11, Islamic Jihad and Al Qaeda became a single organization. When Al Qaeda’s hijacked planes killed thousands of Americans, the U.S. Capitol, suspected to be the target of the last plane, was rapidly evacuated.

Now Al Qaeda’s stepbrother terrorists are hailed in the offices of the United States Senate.

Khader Adnan, hailed in the offices of the United States Senate, has been described by the media as an “activist”, “detainee” and a “hunger striker”. Those are long-winded ways of saying terrorist. The “martyr”, whose hunter strike was a prolonged suicide plan, can be seen on video at the funeral of another terrorist urging the crowd on to more attacks.

“Who among you is Hassan Abu Zaid [i.e., suicide bomber, who murdered seven people]” he demanded. “Who among you is the next Martyrdom-seeker? Who among you has the next explosive belt? Who among you will carry out the next shooting?”

The New York Times responded by comparing the Islamic Jihad terrorist to Gandhi. And the Senate allowed Bernie Sanders to hijack its facilities to hold an event promoting the destruction of Israel and celebrating an Islamic terrorist.

There’s no room in the Senate to discuss an 80-year-old woman crushed under a ceiling while trying to help her amputee husband reach safety, but there’s always room to praise terrorists.

It’s not Noura Erakat’s first time in Congress.

When Pelosi and the Democrats took Congress, Erakat, a key BDS figure, became a legal counsel for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. She attained this position even though her uncle, Saeb Erakat, was a top official in the PLO terrorist group. Her cousin, Ahmed Erekat, was killed carrying out a Car Jihad attack after injuring a female officer.

This is the murderous terrorism that House and Senate Democrats choose to enable.

Senator Bernie Sanders who, when politically convenient, occasionally claims to be Jewish was not outraged over the murder of Inga Avramyan by Islamic Jihad terrorism, he was outraged that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had denied Rep. Rashida Tlaib space in which to promote the terrorists trying to kill Jews.

The only reason that Rep. Tlaib had to resort to the socialist senator’s assistance was that Republicans held the House Majority. Had Pelosi and the Democrats still been in charge, there is no doubt that the event celebrating terrorism and attacking Israel would have gone forward.

“People should be allowed to congregate, to have discussions, to express their viewpoints and ideas,” Rep. Pete Aguilar, the third ranking House Democrat, had complained about Speaker McCarthy’s decision to cancel Tlaib’s ‘Nakba’ event “That’s who we are.”

Supporting Islamic terrorists killing Jews is who the Democrats are.

Senate Democrats, who could have intervened and stopped this ugliness, carefully ignored it. Senate Majority Leader Schumer’s allies claimed that he was “totally unaware of this event.”

Senator Bill Cassidy, the Republican ranking member on the pension committee, condemned Senate Democrats for allowing the hearing room to be used to “legitimize anti-Semitic bigotry.”

Once controversial, antisemitic House members like Rep. Tlaib and Rep. Omar, have been embraced by Biden and the Democrat establishment. When Speaker McCarthy booted Rep. Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee, Democrats held the line in supporting the antisemitic politician. The hatefest at the Dirksen Office Building shows where the Democrats are headed.

Democrats defiled the Capitol by turning into a haven for celebrating the Islamic Jihad terrorists who are backed by Iran and are closely related to Al Qaeda. They did it while Islamic Jihad was firing rockets into Israel in a ruthless effort to kill any Jewish people in their path.

Islamic Jihad celebrated Inga’s murder by gloating that “our Palestinian people raise their heads high with this blessed and sacred response from the Palestinian resistance.”

What better way for the Arab Muslim invaders to “raise their heads high” than with the “blessed and sacred” murder of an 80-year-old Jewish woman.

Perhaps Senator Bernie Sanders can arrange to allow Rep. Rashida Tlaib to hold an event celebrating this latest heroic “resistance” of the Islamic Jihad in the Senate office building.

Bernie Sanders: government should confiscate all wealth over $999 million

No billionaires at all! Not American ones, at least. That’s the newly proclaimed policy of Bernie Sanders, who most definitely is not challenging the Democrats to nominate him for president in 2024, as he did in 2020. Nope, Bernie is perfectly comfortable with the policies being followed by President Biden’s handlers. Presumably, in exchange for not rocking the boat as he did in 2020, forcing the party’s controllers to pick an already senescent Joe Biden just because he was easy to control with all these bribes that could be exposed when needed (cough! Stay tuned as Biden’s desire for re-election now appears to be a kamikaze mission), Bernie has assurances that the hard left vector will continue no matter who is leading the party as presidential nominee in 2024............To Read More...

My Take - Do you wonder what leftist nut cases like Soros, Gates, Zuckerberg, Bezos and others think about this? Answer.  They will like it because they'll find a way around it to keep their money, and can still virtue signal, .....saying....see...we love taxes, justifying destroying the financial security of the rest of humanity.  Bernie is weird, arrogant, a hypocrite and insane.   Why is that so hard to grasp?

It’s Over, Bernie!

America’s leading socialist is unable to explain socialism’s fundamental tenet.

March 9, 2023 by 7 Comments

Is it time for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-USSR) to retire to his three homes and spend his remaining years enjoying whatever he wishes to obtain with the millions he has earned in the service of socialism? If his appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday night is any indication, it seems as if the 81-year-old leveler, who has been in the Senate since Greta Thunberg’s fourth birthday, is well past his sell-by date and should give up all hope he may still have of out-Bidening Biden and becoming the next superannuated socialist in the Oval Office. Sanders showed his age, and his ignorance, when he failed to explain a basic tenet of the sinister political philosophy for which he has been advocating since Old Joe Biden was cheating in law school.

...........Maher asked, “Are we confusing equality of opportunity with trying to guarantee equity in outcomes?” Yes, Bill, we certainly are, and that’s the primary difference between a free society and a socialist one: the former will strive to provide equality of opportunity while understanding that human beings are all different in their talents and capabilities, and thus equality of opportunity will not result in equity of outcome. A socialist state, on the other hand, will impose various institutionalized inequalities upon people in order to try to guarantee equity of outcome, and will resort to confiscation and worse if inequities persists.......To Read More....

My Take - Another example of how leftists will give whatever answer works at that moment, but there's  not a person in the world who has followed Bernie who can possibly believe that he actually believes in equality over equity.

Bernie Sanders calls Manchin's refusal to back $3.5 trillion spending plan 'absolutely not acceptable'

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin reiterated Sunday that he will not vote for President Joe Biden's $3.5 trillion infrastructure and social spending package, prompting Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders to call his decision "absolutely not acceptable."

The West Virginia Democrat suggested the price tag of the legislation should be lowered to around $1.5 trillion, raising concerns that "eight million people are still unemployed" and citing the national debt ceiling..........To Read More......

People of the People?

By Rich Kozlovich

Yesterday I received two e-mails I wish to share with everyone. One was from someone in Our Group, my very eclectic e-mail group, and the second one was from Geopolitical Futures (if you haven't subscribed yet, do so), both dealing with housing.

I really enjoyed this first one!  Especially since Bernie is such a self-sacrificing man of the people.  You may wish to view my

https://i2.wp.com/freedomandprosperity.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/IMG_0113.jpg

The second e-mail also dealt with this piece "Housing Insecurity in America", a free article, saying:

"The U.S. economic recovery is in jeopardy, with tens of millions of Americans facing eviction.....Housing security is especially important right now, given that the federal eviction moratorium is due to expire at the end of the year."

The article goes on to explain the hundreds of billions of dollars it will take to save small businesses and keep people from being evicted, which will promote a continuation of this delusionary fake economy.  One that will eventually come crashing down on the people these state governments abused and destroyed with their tyrannical pronouncements and dictates, including Mike De Wine of Ohio.  He's a disgrace.

Stalin would have been proud.  Why?  Not because we're now adopting anti-constitutional communist practices, but because we're destroying ourselves, which Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev and the rest of those vile, murderous swine predicted.

Da comrade!
