AutoPen: What a Tangled Web We Weave When We Practice to Deceive

By Rich Kozlovich

Donald Trump guarantees Biden had know idea what "he" was signing, and as it turns out he may be right as "thousands of acts of clemency and executive actions were signed with an autopen rather than a wet signature......six criminals were pardoned by Biden’s autopen on December 30, 2022, while Joe Biden was vacationing and golfing in St. Croix."

Biden defended the AutoPen use saying "that he had orally granted all the pardons and commutations issued at the end of his term, saying President Trump and other Republicans "are  liars" for claiming his aides used an autopen to do so without his authorization".   But there are "emails [that] revealed that Biden’s staffers made decisions to sign the pardons with the autopen without directly hearing the orders from Joe Biden."

The NYT says it was Biden's White House Chief of Staff Zeints is the one who approved Fauci’s pardon.

  • Dr. Kevin O’Connor invoked the Fifth Amendment and abruptly left his deposition shortly after it began.
  • Anthony Bernal, who was Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff, and who David Hogg claimed wielded "unchecked power in the White House, refused to answer questions pleading the Fifth Amendment regarding Joe Biden's mental decline and that aides "took unauthorized executive actions during his presidency amid his cognitive decline.”  The Chairman of that committee stated that was “no surprise........to shield himself from criminal liability.”
  • Anna Tomisini was Joe Biden's Chief of Staff and she pleaded the Fifth Amendment as to whether of not Biden was mentally fit to serve as President.

Will this AutoPen issue invalidate Joe Bidens' presidency?

Without the President’s personal involvement in this final act, conservative scholars Edwin Meese and Josh Blackman argue that strict personal involvement is required. The Appointments Clause establishes that the President must make a clear statement that a given person is appointed to a judgeship (or granted a pardon, etc.). It does not allow a secretary, aide, or Chief of Staff to exercise that authority.

I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

While I have no doubt Biden was totally unaware of this corruption going on in his office, I find it difficult to believe Jill didn't know, but either way, it's not going to change a thing.  All these pardons and appointments are going to stand for four reasons.

  1. Biden's claiming they're legitimate and he authorized them, and to admit otherwise is admitting he was too demented to be President, and he will not do that, nor will Jill.
  2. The Constitution says the President has to sign off on all this stuff, but AutoPen didn't exist then and it's been used by Presidents for years without objection or question.
  3. Since his brain is mush it's easily claimed he just doesn't remember those authorizations any longer, and no one can prove otherwise.
  4. The federal judiciary would have to act on this since this is a Constitutional issue, and they will not override these pardons or appointments as that would turn into a nightmare for the judiciary.

It is great politics though.

So, what do we need?  What we really need is clarity!   So let's turn to  and Biden supporter, Bette Midler, who assures us it's Trump who is mentally unfit to serve as President of the United States, and substantiates that with lies.   Imagine that.

There are six words no Democrat, or their myrmidons in the Pravda media, has uttered since Trump has been elected.  "No one is above the law!" Lock-em up!
