Kimmel: Late-Night Shows Can’t ‘Go Too Far’ Attacking Trump; Viewers Must ‘Accept’ Hosts Politicking

Video-On ABC’s Good Morning America program Tuesday, activist/late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel denied he’d ever gone too far to the left when preaching politics and attacking President Donald Trump on his show.  Kimmel added that he had no regrets over “anything” he’s said on his show.  “Not at all. My Take - Years ago Linda Ronstadt had a concert billed as her singing oldies and goodies, but it turned into a political diatribe by her, and a large number of people got up and walked out.  They felt they were defrauded by what was advertised versus what occurred.  Ronstadt - unendingly clueless - and self righteously indignant at the actions of the audience said she thought this was a country of free speech.  Well, it is, and they didn't prevent her from shooting off her mouth, they just didn't have to listen to it.  They exercised their free speech with their feet and left.  I hope this will be an ongoing pattern.
