Cruz Assembles All-Star Foreign Policy Team to Combat Radical Islam

Last week, Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz released a list of his foreign policy advisors and the beltway foreign policy duopoly immediately defended like a swarm of locusts on some of the candidate’s picks. This week, we’ve seen another western city rocked by yet another Islamist terror attack. Some of those criticisms are starting to seem absurd and out of touch with the nature of the radical Islamist threats highlighted by today's attacks in Brussels.  Cruz’s team, which contains some of the countries strongest opponents of radical Islam, was immediately lambasted by Politico as being composed of the “anti-Islamist fringe.”  Perhaps the article’s opening paragraph probably best captures the cries of outrage that erupted from foreign policy wonks around the D.C. beltway:.....Let’s take a look at some of those “fringe” advisors, shall we?
