Socialism’s record of complete, abject failure remains unblemished. Here are some headlines from Venezuela, where their citizens have suffered from years of socialist leadership: “Venezuela to Shut Down for a Week to Cope With Electricity Crisis”; “Price controls and scarcity force Venezuelans to turn to the black market for milk and toilet paper.”
Sadly, however, none of this matters to the radical left as they remain committed to the fundamental transformation of America. These radicals never run out of excuses to explain away the destruction caused by socialism. Here’s a small sample of the excuses I’ve seen and heard from radicals attempting to defend the catastrophic failures of socialism in Venezuela: “It’s not socialism that failed, it’s corrupt government officials”; “Venezuela didn’t fail because of socialism, it failed because of low oil prices”; and, the old stand-by used by blind followers of socialism, “Greedy capitalists did it.” ...............the more government is introduced into the economic machinery of a country, the greater the likelihood of a catastrophic economic failure......
The far-left are walking down a dangerous path like sheep to the slaughter and we must do our best to save them from themselves. The country’s future depends on it. See more
