Many times we are tempted to just stay out of things. When we were kids in school, we knew that if we stood up for the kid getting harassed that we were liable to be next. Yet, this cannot be our attitude as adults. As adults, it is not name calling or slight physical violence that we overlook. Bullying is much worse when grown-ups perpetrate in it. And thankfully, parents of Walnut Hill Elementary-Middle School are not going to look the other way when their children’s principle began to be bullied. Christian Newsreports….…..To Read More…..
First of all - all this claptrap about the separation of church and state is baloney. The Constitution says no such thing. The Constitution forbids the establishment of a national religion and any interference in the establishment of religion and it's clear the founders wanted the federal government to stay out of the affairs of religion.
"Our forefathers never sought to evict the church from society. They recognized that the several states did not share uniform values. We lived and worshipped differently. The framers were a diverse bunch with wildly divergent opinions on many issues, but eliminating the very foundations of America’s heritage would have horrified them. On few issues was there more unanimity……Alexis de Tocqueville observed that Americans intertwined individual liberty with vibrant faith. "It is impossible to make them conceive the one without the other."…..The Northwest Ordinance of 1787 states: "Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged."’
"Americans understood freedom without morality quickly devolves into debauchery. Whether from sincere faith, or, prudence instilling an honest, law-abiding, responsible and hardworking populace, all esteemed biblical morality as the bedrock of self government. George Washington believed, "Religion and morality are indispensible supports" for "it is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."
As for Jefferson’s comments about a high wall between church and state that has constantly been misapplied, and they get away with it because we don’t teach history any longer - rule # 31, Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
Jefferson’s actual view was, "what communities did and how they worshipped were not federal affairs. Jefferson later said the central government was "interdicted from intermeddling with religious institutions. Such were state (Ed. Note: Meaning the individual states) matters." The wall of separation Jefferson talked about was to protect religion from federal government involvement, not the reverse as leftists would have you believe.
So why does the ACLU do the things it does? I would like to draw everyone’s attention to a few things. First - The Communist Takeover Of America - 45 Declared Goals.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
Secondly - Just who and what is the American Civil Liberties Union? In Alan Sears article, "The ACLU's shocking legacy", he starts out saying:
"One of the great myths of the 20th – and now 21st – century is the belief that the American Civil Liberties Union was an organization that had a noble beginning, but somehow strayed off course. That myth is untrue. The ACLU set a course to destroy America – her freedom and her values – right from the start."

The histories of these two individuals belie their claims of patriotism and respect for the Constitution."....."Baldwin openly sought the utter destruction of American society. I am for Socialism, disarmament and ultimately, for the abolishing of the State itself … I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal."........"I don't regret being a part of the communist tactic which increased the effectiveness of a good cause."
