The shutdown is a good thing

Last week, a Democrat finally used the word “jihad.” A new realism about the greatest threat that America faces today? No. Rep. George Miller, D-Calif., used the word to describe not Islamic jihad terrorism (Miller wouldn’t be caught dead using it that way, I’m sure), but the Republicans’ principled stand against Obamacare and for the American people.  You can’t make this stuff up. I have never heard a Democrat use the word jihad. Until now.  Meanwhile, as the shutdown dragged on, it was revealed that those who are bent on forcing Obamacare on us don’t have to suffer it themselves. Congress is exempt from Obamacare, but I have to have that cr-p? Anyone who works for the state gets special treatment. The great unwashed? The hoi polloi? The bourgeoisie? Not so much.  The average staffer makes a salary between $75,000 and $150,000, and they complain that they can’t afford health care…..To Read More….
