Sen. Rand Paul on Obama Claim to have Cut the Deficit by $2 Trillion: “In what Universe?”

Here is video of Sen. Rand Paul in an extensive interview with USA Today’s Susan Page. They talked about a wide-range of issues, including the Tea Party, Immigration, the 2nd Amendment, and President Obama’s use of drones to kill Americans suspected of terrorist activity.

Paul mocked President Obama’s claim to have “reduced the deficit by $2 Trillion,” when he has actually added $6 Trillion to the National Debt. “In what universe?”, Paul asked. “Does that mean because he didn’t add $8 Trillion he’s reduced it $2 Trillion? What kind of logic could he possibly use to say he’s reduced the deficit?”
