Let's Get Our Priorities Right

Mike McDaniel published this piece on car seats for children,  Child car seat contraception, saying the "safety Nazis are annoying", and went on to show just how annoying they can be.

  Remember, bureaucrats never stop creating regulations, nor do they stop expanding on existing regulations.   An interesting aspect of this article is how this impacts our demographics, which I never thought of, and you may find it interesting.  But that's not what I want to talk about.  The comments are interesting, as there's always some who decry our advanced societies, how it's all about greed, etc.  

I always hate these kind of “if it only saves one life” discussions. At the end of WWII the world’s population was around 2 billion people, and it took thousands of years to get there. In 80 years the world’s population surged to over 8 billion people.  How bad can living in advanced societies be?

Accidents happen, and accidents have always happened, and people have always died as a result of accidents. Life is about risk versus benefits. Is that any consolation to those who’ve lost loved ones? No, nor has it been any consolation for anyone for thousands of years, but before the 19th century, there weren’t nearly as many benefits as there were risks.

People are living safer and longer than at any time in human history, so this idea we need to abandon all our advances, with all the negatives that go along with them, leaves us with the alternative living in caves, drinking untreated water, eating all natural foraged food, freezing in winter, sweltering in summer, living in filth and squalor to a ripe old age of 35.

The real safety risk is culture.   The civilized world has now chosen “leaders” who allow wolves to run loose on our streets who are murdering, raping, robbing, and destroying the safety of the weak and helpless, and we’re worried about cars, car seats, seat belts, etc. We really need to get our priorities straight, and cutting government at all levels by 80% would be a good start. 

We need far fewer “experts”.

CDC Sued for Withholding Post-Licensure V-safe Data on COVID-19 Vaccines

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been sued by the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), which claims the agency is improperly withholding COVID-19 v-safe data from the American public.  In a statement on Dec. 29, the non-profit group said it had filed a lawsuit (pdf) against the public health agency and the United States Department of Health and Human Services to force it to produce de-identified post-licensure safety data for the COVID-19 vaccines in the CDC’s v-safe system, to the public.   As per the CDC, v-safe is an “active surveillance program to monitor the safety of COVID-19 vaccines during the period when the vaccines are authorized for use under Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) and possibly early after vaccine licensure.”...........

Dr. Peter McCullough: Vaccine Mandates Should Be Repealed

COVID-19 vaccine mandates “have to be repealed” as the vaccines are “still in research” and “people cannot be mandated to participate in research,” says Dr. Peter McCullough.

McCullough, a cardiologist, epidemiologist, and internist who manages COVID-19 patients with heart-related complications and patients who become ill after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, contends that COVID-19 vaccine mandates violate the Nuremberg Code.

“When it comes to research, research can only be voluntary. And under no circumstances can anyone receive any pressure, coercion, or threat of reprisal—cannot. It violates the cornerstone of ethics; it’s unethical, it’s immoral to do that,” he says.

McCullough notes that the CDC and FDA have yet to publish “their first monthly safety report” on the vaccines, and that as of Dec. 17, the CDC’s VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System) has reported 20,622 deaths post-vaccination and over 983,000 adverse events............To Read More....

This isn’t a conspiracy theory, it’s not Russian disinformation, it’s not Qanon hornman stuff, and it’s not even unfactual scientific data. The evidence I’m about to mention makes it seem to be intentional.

When the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were being tested, they were done within a control group, that is, a group of people participating in the trial who were given what’s called a placebo, which is not the vaccine at all. It was probably saline. That’s how many scientific studies are done. One group, the experimental group, gets the medicine and the other group, the control group, does not. You then monitor both groups and see if the group that got the medicine is protected from the virus more than the group that got the placebo.

Joe Biden’s Misplaced Anger At Unvaccinated Americans

Joe Biden is losing his patience with us. He’s a caring dictator and would never force us to do anything he didn’t believe was in our best interest. So, when millions of Americans refuse his benevolence, well, that ticks him off a little. He’s promised that soon he’s going to be really mad and we had better watch out. “I don’t quite get this,” quoth he. He’s offering us salvation but we choose not to accept it. How could we be so stupid and ungrateful?

It’s a little disconcerting to think that the equivalent of a spoiled, angry, and somewhat addled teenager, is ostensibly running what is still the most powerful country in the world despite his best efforts to diminish it. The “president” apparently sees Americans as adversaries to be bent to his will. Only when all citizens are cowed into following his every whim, will things be well in the United States of Biden.

So, what is Joe so angry about?..........The vaccine was rushed out of the laboratory in record time. It was only through an “emergency use authorization” that it was made available to millions of Americans. It is a new kind of vaccine that has not been thoroughly evaluated for possibly harmful side effects.............

The average FDA approval time for any new drug is 12 years. The roughly 1.5 year approval time for covid vaccines got it done ten and a half years early. Also, only one in five new drugs get approved for human use. Fast and efficient is nice but, in this case, it’s hard to believe that political pressure wasn’t brought to bear. So, we can toss out FDA approval............“the unvaccinated account for just 22% of Covid-19 deaths during September 2021, whilst the vaccinated account for a disastrous 78%.”......................

It’s also interesting to note that deaths from COVID in the United States in 2021 recently surpassed the number of deaths in 2020. When you consider that the base population of those who haven’t already been infected and recovered is roughly 115 million fewer than in 2020, this means that 2021, with over 200 million people vaccinated, has proportionately been a much deadlier year than 2020. So much for efficacy. Let’s move on to safety.........

There is much more information available at the link about the lack of both safety and efficacy but this overview might help with some of Joe’s confusion. Those people in the high-risk age category may be well served by the vaccine but, for the vast majority, it seems like a plausible alternative to take your chances with the disease rather than with the cure...............Cloward and Piven would be proud.......To Read More.....
