Although I have witnessed firsthand the precipitous decline in the quality of life in the Big Apple (please see here, and trust me: it has only gotten worse), even I was shocked to see footage of uniformed New York City policemen being drenched with water and attacked with flying objects by laughing and jeering residents of Harlem.
Although many have attempted to explain the causes of this utterly outrageous and disgraceful scenario, noting the atmosphere of disrespect for police and the damaged police morale, courtesy of New York City mayor Bill de Blasio, one glaring factor has been absent from the conversation. In fact, the concluding section of the Harlem video footage demands further explanation, as we view policemen actively ignoring the repeated dousing of water all over them, as they slowly walk soaking wet to their patrol car, heads down, as if they are not allowed to react to the grave offenses committed against them.
Remove "as if" in the above sentence, and you have the answer.

NYPD Scoffs After De Blasio Makes This Pledge At Last Night's Debate
Cortney O'Brien @obrienc2 Jun 27, 2019
The New York Police Department turned its back on Mayor Bill de Blasio at a press conference in 2014 following the murder of a few of their officers. That's because just a few days before, the mayor accused the police of being responsible for the "distrust" in their community. He has also told the press that he has raised his black son to be aware of the "dangers" posed by police.
To the NYPD, the mayor had spurred the community's animosity against them and may have put a target on their backs. Pat Lynch, president of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, even accused the mayor of "throwing them under the bus."
So, when De Blasio, now a presidential contender, said at Wednesday night's Democratic primary that he hopes to bridge the divide between cops and community members, the NYPD scoffed.............To Read More....

Did the NYPD force the FBI to act on Weiner?
By Russ Vaughn
According to a Breitbart article discussing the reasons for the FBI's renewed interest in the Clinton scandals, that move came at the insistence of the New York Police Department, who were the LEOs who claimed first possession and had first access to pervert Anthony Weiner's laptop. The source for Breitbart was Erik Prince, former Navy SEAL and founder/former CEO of Blackwater, who says he has sources within the NYPD who have assured him that the Democrat pedophile's computer contains an ambitious prosecutor's dream's worth of evidence of criminality against many Democrat politicians in Congress – and also, of course, the Clintons and their immediate entourage.
According to Prince, as quoted by Breitbart:........."That level of evil"? That a chief of the NYPD uses the descriptive evil rather than criminal should speak worlds as to just what the Clinton's really are – lawless and immoral predators, as so many of us have been insisting for years. But according to Prince, his NYPD sources say they have faced nothing but obstruction from the federal Justice Department, which is easy to believe when you consider that sources within the FBI have been saying the same thing.......Read more
