Kucinich rips Dems for proposal to examine Trump's mental fitness

Dennis Kucinich, the former Democratic congressman and presidential candidate, blasted his party colleagues on Tuesday over a push to examine President Trump’s mental and physical fitness for office – and potentially use the findings to seek his removal.  The campaign is being led by Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., who has tried to rally support for his bill in the wake of Trump’s controversial attacks on various media outlets and personalities.

But Kucinich told “Fox & Friends” that Democrats aren’t doing the party any favors with proposals like this.  “It’s a political statement, not a medical statement,” said Kucinich, a Fox News contributor. “I think it’s destroying the party as an effective opposition.”

My Take - Imagine that.  Dennis Kucinich as the voice of reason!  When Dennis Kucinich becomes the voice of reason in a poltical party - that party's in serious trouble.

Former Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) recently appeared on Fox News to discuss President Trump’s accusations about possibly being wiretapped, and surprisingly the very liberal Democrat said it wasn’t much of a stretch to believe that Trump was right! Kucinich wasn’t surprised because he too was wiretapped by the federal government.....more here



My Take - Interesting but - wellll let's face it - this is Dennis Kucinich. He's from the Cleveland and even though he was Cleveland's boy mayor, and was elected to Congress over and over again, remember the district he represented also sent Mary Rose Oakar to Congress over and over again.  That district, which was merged into another district or Kucinich would still be there, has a real penchant for left wing loons, which I've always found fascinating because his district was mostly ethnic Catholics.  Go figure. 

Here's the thrust of this - why would this far left wing loony Democrat - and out of office far left wing loony Democrat - come forward with this?  The fact of the matter is I wouldn't trust Dennis Kucinich if he told me day was light and night was dark.  Dennis is an opportunist and I always wonder at his motives no matter what he says or does.
