George Stephanopoulos is a Left Wing Operative and Not a Real Journalist: I'm Shocked, Shocked I Tell You!

To quote a man who – if he had really lived – would have to be considered one of the world's unique moralists, Captain Renault, played by Claude Rains in Casablanca as he’s ordered to close Rick’s American Café for political reasons:

Renault: Oh, thank you, very much. Everybody out at once!

On May 16, 2015 Onan Coca posted an article titled, “Media Realizes that Stephanopoulos May Actually be a Liberal Activist and Not a Journalist!” She starts out saying: 

“The Washington Post’s Erik Wemple says what everyone else is thinking when it comes to George Stephanopoulos’ recent interview of Clinton Cash author Peter Schweitzer. Instead of simply being a good interview about an important book at the start of a Presidential election campaign… perhaps the interview was actually an attempt by a liberal activist and Clinton ally to put out a fire before it began raging. 

 

We’re all talking about this media stuff. But, yes, I think that when George Stephanopoulos goes on with a major figure and talks about, you know, the “Clinton Cash” book or whatever, I could sense that he was going after Peter Schweitzer. At the time, it looked like legitimate journalism. In retrospect, it looks like activism”.

And everyone's shocked?  Over the weekend a number of Fox News shows had their talking heads (for clarity sake, I actually like some of the talking heads) do some commentary on this issue. I might point out since it wasn’t corruption by a conservative the MSM pretty much ignored the issue. 

 

But there’s no liberal bias….or it’s very limited ....Right?  After all…. there’s no such thing as a conspiracy. Right? 

 

Of course there are those small minded individuals who will wonder if it’s possible there’s a bigger reason why there’s so little coverage by the left wing media. Is it possible this is a deeper story than just good old George? Is it possible they’re all guilty of this kind of stuff? Nah, that can’t be true! They’re full of liberal purity, like the Clintons, and the Kennedy’s.

There were two things that I found amazing.

 

First off, it amazes me just how many people actually watch this guy. Oh, I know the numbers on the MSM are dwindling, but he still has quite a following. I never watched him for more than a few minutes total since his very first show. Why? Because he made his bones as a Clintonista left wing operative and a spin master. It’s part and parcel of who he is. Why would anyone think he would change? He just gets paid a whole lot more from ABC for spinning the truth than he did when he was paid by the Clinton administration for spinning the truth.

Secondly, it never ceases to amaze me how many in the media, including Karl Rove, who attempted to claim Stephanopoulos had made the transition in everyone’s mind from a Democratic activist to a journalist. It reminds me of a time when conservative commentators– perhaps I should say seeming conservative commentators - were crying crocodile tears a few years ago because of the New York Times financial problems, fearing the Old Gray Hag would go out of business. 

All that hand wringing irrespective of the well known historical facts showing the NYT has been a left wing treasonous canker sore on the butt of journalism since the Roosevelt administration. One reader pointed out his operative status was only a “secret from other media types, which explains why you can't trust any of them, because at best they're only a 5 watt bulb, when a 100 watt bulb is what is needed for that type of job”.

Greg Gutfeld – one of Fox’s talking heads I like – is quoted in the article as she says:

“there is even more reason for concern for ABC. Because on the heels of the Stephanopoulos – Schweitzer interview, the Clintons used the piece to try to discredit the book and its author. They sourced each other, that’s the great thing. It’s like the Clinton campaign fact checks Schweizer’s book, and then Stephanopoulos uses that in the interview and then Clinton goes back to the Stephanopoulos interview and says,“see.” So it’s this little circle of sourcing each other. It’s like two criminals providing each other an alibi.”

But as for the rest of them - I guess they’re just “shocked, shocked” to find there’s corruption going on here, even as they attempt to find reasons to allow these people to continue in their corruption. Apparently they also need to go along to get along in order to play the game.

 

Here’s another interesting quote from Casablanca I find applicable.

Renault: Rick, there are many exit visas sold in this café, but we know that you've never sold one. That is the reason we permit you to remain open.

Rick: Oh? I thought it was because I let you win at roulette.

Renault: That is another reason.

Nothing is ever as it seems, except to remember that corruption is always part of the human equation. However, since leftism has no moral foundation we should expect higher levels of corruption in everything they do. In their case it’s not a conspiracy. It’s intrinsic to leftist character! Here's one more quote that could help define most of the media, conservative and liberal:

Renault: I have no conviction, if that's what you mean. I blow with the wind, and the prevailing wind happens to be from Vichy.

The difference between Captain Renault and the media? He was honest about his corruption! Now we have clarity!

Media Collapse is Inevitable, and it's a Good Morning in America! Part V

Ken Starr, the Special Prosecutor in the Clinton case, was vilified and made to look stupid by the media constantly.  Even stalking Starr outside his home and asking him questions when he went outside to throw out the garbage in his bathrobe.  

Starr in effect admitted his naivete saying the optics never occurred to him as he didn't want to be rude, as the reporters were just doing their job.  Now that's naive, true, but that's  how descent people act.  

The media isn't descent, they're not honest, and they're corrupt to the bone.  Why did it take so long for everyone to grasp that?  And Walter Cronkite, "The most trusted man in America",  was just as guilty.  He was a secret globalist, and the Pravda media, aka, the Fourth Estate still is.

Dr. Michael J. Hurd published this article, What Makes a Person “Suggestible” and Why It Matters, saying: 

Far from being something mysterious, the power of suggestion is often a part of everyday life.....Simply put, a person is “suggestible” if he or she accepts and acts on suggestions by others. Suggestions can range from lies to misunderstandings to incorrect perceptions (like the caffeine example). In other words, your mind, and in some cases, your body, will trick you into believing that something is – or isn’t – true.......

He goes on to say:

Researchers warn against confusing “suggestibility” with “susceptibility.” Susceptibility refers to a physical weakness or predisposition, like being susceptible to colds. Though suggestibility is more mental......The famous saying, “There’s a sucker born every minute” may be true — but only where critical thinking is ignored, discouraged or outlawed.

The Pravda media has knowingly and corruptly spewed out lies of commission, lies of omission, misinformation, and fake news for decades placing a mammoth thumb on America's election scales.   

The bias, from both the mainstream media and the tech/social media is mind-boggling.  The problem isn’t that Democrats openly and habitually lie about Donald Trump on a regular basis.  The problem is that the media uses subliminal messaging to reinforce those lies. They are not fair, neutral arbiters. 

The media are Democrats, by and large. For example, Democrat strategist Aisha Mills recently appeared on Erin Burnett’s show on CNN [whose] insane rant naturally invoked Hitler, but ranged from eugenics (What? Planned Parenthood and Margaret Sanger are icons within the Democrat party, and she wants to complain about eugenics?) to her personal belief, based on nothing but her own emotion, that Donald Trump considers himself superior to her because of her genetics due to her identity a black lesbian. ...........

Well, I'm betting tree moss is superior to her, and they wonder why they're swirling down the drain.   MSNBC, CNN are disintegrating, and left wing outlets are utterly stupefied as to why!

 The fact is the real reason Trump is so popular is because of the internet. So many alternative news site popped up overnight, like American Thinker, all of which what's called the "Fourth Estate", and is in reality the Pravda media, arrogantly, smugly, and dismissively called the alternative media the "Pajama Media", and that's now morphed into the 'Fifth Estate" because as more and more Americans read what was being said they realized just how badly they'd been lied to by the Pravda Media. 

And Little Georgie isn't alone.   Joy Reid, "We Are Not Having Thanksgiving with You — ‘Make your Own Dinner, MAGA", who never fails to demonstrate what an abysmally disgusting human being she is, even blaming the Muslim terrorist attack in New Orleans on America, is either going to be booted off MSNBC, or take a pay cut.  I would choose the boot, but that's just me.  When you read the idiotic, nasty things she says you have to ask, Why on earth does MSNBC keep Joy Reid?, but then, why does MSNBC continue to exist?  Then there's Rachel Maddow, MSNBC's "star", who will have to now survive on a mere 25 million a year instead of 30 million.  And they wonder why they're going broke? 

Viewers Abandoned CNN, MSNBC After Election.  In the aftermath of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Fox News experienced significant gains in viewership. The network captured 62 percent of the overall cable news audience, marking its highest cable news share to date. On Election Night and during Vice President Kamala Harris's concession, Fox News was the most-watched network. ( More Here, and Here) 

Even the Food Network is doing better than CNN, and Silvio Canto says he understands why, "their chefs and recipes must have more credibility than the news readers" at these networks.

America is now acutely aware of how badly they've been lied to and have walked away from these networks.  Once that happened, they never went back, and those numbers have increased yearly, until now,  Now those numbers are massive, and to the point the Pravda media, both print and television, are going down the sewer, and are on the chopping block to be sold, and soon, probably at fire sale prices, and for two reasons. 

1. Their viewership is far left and they will not tolerate conservative views being shown, so they can't change who and what they are to expand their viewership, and very soon they're going to lose all that lovely, lovely bundling money.
2. Streaming is going to bankrupt cable.  Cable is dying and being taken over by streaming, and when cable dies, all that lovely, lovely, bundling money will dry up, and worse yet, their ratings as bad as they were, nosedived after the election.  They tried streaming with MSNBC+ and it failed almost overnight, so they know with their message they can't generate sufficient income on their own.  They're toast.

MSNBC Continues to Crash and Burn, With No Idea What to Do.  Now, ya just gotta see the humor in all that panic, and the Trump people are going after the media from now on, as ‘The View’ Host Sunny Hostin has to issue another legal statement for lying about Pete Hegseth claiming he mistreated his wife.

Now little Georgie Stephanopoulos, the dwarf who roared, has had to settle with Trump for big bucks, apologize to him, and ABC has to fork over $15 Million directly to Trump, and another million to his lawyers.   And the dwarf who roared is in a rage, and is allegedly ‘Apoplectic’ over Trump Lawsuit Settlement, but what must really hurt is he's had to take a pay cut, who is still grossly overpaid.  

Poor Jim Acosta, a virtual lava flow horsepucky is in a panic over this settlement as he fears getting sued, and if he does, he want's the company to bail him out.  It never occurred to them all their lies would constitute "actual malice" under the New York Times V. Sullivan SCOTUS ruling that I think is a disgraceful decision that has absolutely no basis in the Constitution and unleashed onto America corrupt media liars who worked to destroy the lives of people they disapproved of, and it's time to end this insanity and force the media to live by the same standards as the rest of America has to live by.

Then we have the fall of RINO Never Trumpers like Peggy Noonan, who was lauded a lot in years gone by and even then I had no idea why. I read her stuff, and even at that much younger age, with much less experience in life, and much less knowledge, I wasn't impressed. I always came away with the thought I had no idea what she was trying to say, and neither did she. This piece explains why. She wants it both ways, always needing an out, always needing an excuse for failure, just like all the "it's not my fault" leftists they hobnob with.

She's like so many of these faux conservatives, they like the attention, the parties, the ability to rub shoulders with prominent leftists of the media, presenting themselves as enlightened, but they've never they been warriors. Jonah Goldberg came close and then capitulated. George Will,  Krauthammer, and Bill Kristol, whose father Irving was a communist/socialist at one point and became the "godfather of neoconservatism", which explains a lot about the views of his son, all of whom had the same problem that afflicts so many "intellectuals", a sense of elitist privilege. 

I've seen this type in a thousand places and a thousand faces, but they're all the same, they present a face of arrogance and smugness to hide their inadequacies, and are totally uncomfortable in the presence of the peasantry as they live in a echo chamber of head nodders.  

As has been quoted so often, "There are liars, there are damn liars, and there are statistics",. so when you combine a political persuasion notorious for lies, and can only subsist on lies, a corrupt media that loves those lies, and pollsters who corruptly know they're lies and yet work to make lies those truth, we had a public that was been beguiled for decades.

Then the internet appeared and then, "Shazam" the "Captain Marvel", alternative media appeared, AKA, the pajama media, now the new "Fifth Estate", which the Pravda media smugly and arrogantly smirked at. Well, that's over with, the smirk is gone, the smirking turned into hate mongering, their network programs are swirling down the drain, and now the corporate Pravda, Fourth Estate media, is irrelevant, and it's clear the new administration is going to open things up that will place the "Fourth Estate" in a back row seat, where they've belonged for decades.

 He who laughs last laughs best.  Schadenfreude!

Two more points. 

First, this attack against a corrupt media is going to continue, as "U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) shared details about her plans for a brand new House subcommittee tasked with cutting wasteful government spending and redundant bureaucracy", saying among the things, they'll be addressing taxpayer money being used to fund NPR or any media outlet for that matter.  

Secondly, for those who may doubt the vile corruption we're seeing from the Pravda media is something new and novel, I would like to draw your attention to an article I originally published in 2011, The Lady is a Hag.

The claim some time has been the Main Stream Media, or as I call it the Pravda media, has lost all credibility.  The debates sealed that claim.  What was the media's biggest beef with J.D. Vance?  The man had the audacity to confidently smile.  Imagine that.  Did he shout, scowl, wave his arms in outrage, bang his fits on the podium?  No, he did much worse, and it was far more "chilling".  He outrageously " put on a mask of likability and empathy.”    That was unforgivable male toxicity.  After a face crime such as that, how does he even dare "breathe  in the air we breathe on this planet! ”  But that was from Maureen Dowd, as far left loon a as there is. 

In Discover the Networks, Dowd is described as a "narcissistic writer tending to reduce “all political phenomena .... to caricatures of the personalities", who finds it “easier to whine than to take a stand or offer solutions".  Her "favorite rhetorical device is parallelism", which is like a the logical fallacy of inappropriate comparisons.  Claims anyone who opposed abortion suffers from "mental impairment", and is an unending race baiter, and I think the real reason she dislikes Vance so much is she identifies as one J.D. Vance's childless cat ladies, just like Kamala Harris, "who hadn’t procreated.... were “miserable” and had no “direct stake” in the country", whether she owns a cat or not. 

The arrogance of the "stars" of the Pravda Media is beyond the pale, Stephanopoulos says "he will not continue with any interview with a Republican if they won't concede Joe Biden won in 2020.  He won't allow any discussion of voter fraud, or watered down ballot rules.  Nitwits like him "think it's journalistic malpractice to do a live interview with President Trump on television."  Why? Because if it's live they can't contort what was said as they've done over and over again with taped interviews.    

Then we have Morning Joe Scarborough, who has been described as America's Baghdad Bob.  You remember Baghdad Bob don't you?  He was "Saddam Hussein’s Information Minister, Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf", who '"ludicrously claimed “The infidels are committing suicide by the hundreds on the gates of Baghdad.”  "Americans “are going to surrender or be burned in their tanks. They will surrender, it is they who will surrender."  The next day Baghdad fell.

Joe Scarborough? At one point, he was considered a conservative Republican congressman from Florida. Today, he is a disgraceful fool spouting a never-ending array of talking points for President Joe Biden on cable news. His credibility as a journalist, although never very impressive, has completely evaporated.  His performances on MSNBC have become so laughable that the comparisons to “Baghdad Bob” are impossible to ignore.

 Scarborough claims former President Donald Trump was “preparing for civil war.”  What triggered that statement?  Well, he quotes Trump saying:

 “Those who want to stop us from achieving this future have slandered me, impeached me, indicted me, tried to throw me off the ballot. And who knows? Maybe even tried to kill me.”.....“You know, I always say there is an enemy from within, and there is an outside enemy. If you are smart, the outside enemy is not going to be a problem. Russia, China, North Korea, we are not going to have a problem if you have a smart president. If you have not such a smart president then it’s a problem. We have an enemy from within, which I think is much more dangerous than the outside enemy.”

How does Scarborough define all those true statements?  He calls that a stunning level of un-American activity. 

“The level of un-American activity that you just saw is stunning. That is un-American. They know they’re lying. Donald Trump knows that’s a lie. He will tell you that the Secret Service, he thought, did the best job they could do. The fact that JD Vance and Trump’s family would out and out say what they said takes the threat of violence takes the threat beyond where it was even leading up to January 6. This is an increasingly desperate person, an increasingly desperate family, who is preparing for civil war. They just are.”

And the list of outrageous statements by Scarborough and his team are listed in the linked artilce, go there and see clearly they're all about "punishing Trump, coddling Biden".  And "this is what our media elite considers a well-functioning democracy and apolitical justice", and the reason I call them the Pravda media.

There's no debate or interview that won't be a designed trap to make conservatives look bad, and a lot of that is backfiring as conservatives have given up any idea the media will play fair.  They won't, and now people like J.D. Vance are prepared to deal with them, and even challenge them.   

Katarina Bradford on October 16, 2024 posted this article, 4 Times the Left-wing Media has  C0mpletely Destroyed its Credibility, saying:

The mainstream media no longer pursues truth. It is a puppet of the political establishment and will demonize anyone who dares question their establishment-approved narratives. Labeling everyday Americans as “conspiracy theorists” and purveyors of “disinformation,” the media has weaponized its platforms to shield political elites rather than holding them accountable. From silencing critical stories like Hunter Biden’s laptop to ridiculing valid concerns about COVID vaccines, the mainstream media has consistently acted as the enforcer of the political machine, not a champion of truth.

As the facts came to light, many of the stories they dismissed and suppressed have been vindicated—exposing not only the media’s bias but also the lengths they’ll go to discredit those who challenge their carefully constructed narratives. Here are four of the most shocking lies the mainstream media purported to protect their leftist political elites that absolutely destroy their credibility: 

Lie #1: The Hunter Biden laptop theory is Russian disinformation.....
Lie #2: The COVID lab-leak theory is a conspiracy theory.....
Lie #3: COVID vaccines are safe and effective.....

Actually, while those are four excellent examples, the amount of vile and corrupt lies of commission, lies of omission, logical fallacies, and projection, spewed out by these corrupt misfits is much larger than just these four examples, actually going back a hundred years, and probably just as long as news organizations have existed. 

You Know There Was Industrial-Scale Election Fraud. What Can Be Done?

  Don't believe your lyin' eyes, and certainly do not believe the scores of fellow citizens who, under oath, signed affidavits and testified about the fraud those lying eyes witnessed. 

Put this behind you.  Move on.  Just forget it. But you can't.  You probably want to, particularly as your spouse complains about how tense you seem these days.  Fraud is an ugly thing, even when it happens to someone else.  When it happens to you, or at least to the guy you were voting for, even if you did not like his tweets, it is a bit more personal.

Children are born with a fear of loud noises.  It is one of their only innate fears.  They do not fear hot stoves; they do not fear loaded pistols; they do not fear that pot of boiling water.  They learn about those dangers soon enough.  Children are also born with a sense of justice.  It is inherent, innate, in there somewhere.  Everyone, or about everyone, has it.  Angry voices make them cry.  Witnessing someone harming an animal is horrible to them.  It should remain so.  Something immediately angers a child when someone cuts in line.  That innate sense of justice, right and wrong, is why you remain tense and your spouse tells you so.  It is why you just cannot get over it.
