Our Group's Take -  They're calling him a "domestic terrorist" and yet he hurt no one, damaged nothing, didn't even force his way into the building or the Senate floor... he was protesting for election integrity.  What's more, they're calling him a domestic terrorist - and yet the prosecutors only asked for 18 months in jail... and didn't charge him with terrorism, sedition, insurrection, or anything else of the sort.  And the judge says it's only worth 8 months, with that only to "send a message" to others, not because of this guy's actual actions! He was branded a felon for life for this... when the Capitol Police Chief in charge Jan. 6th testified to Congress that the Senate wasn't evacuated because of the protestors at all, but because of the pipe bombs found at the RNC and DNC!!  So exactly how did this guy even "obstruct an official proceeding" when his presence had nothing to do with them being evacuated?

I think daily, incrementally, insidiously the number of Americans that does not believe official Ministry of Truth communiques grows larger. And the number promulgating them for careerist purposes shrinks.

The white-driven, Anti-Asian hate-crime spree lie is about dead. The data showed the very opposite: whites were under-represented as generic hate-crime perpetrators and in particular were not responsible for the uptick of anti-Asian violence, either proportionally or in absolute numbers. African-Americans were overrepresented, both generically and especially in the case of Anti-Asian crimes. 

The Capitol January 6 “armed insurrection” lie (as opposed to a spontaneous mob frenzy) is dissipating, despite the Biden whopper that it was more a threat than Pearl Harbor or 9/11 to democracy (5,000 were killed on those two days). We are learning by leaks, bits and pieces of witnesses, and an occasional honest account that there were no armed insurrectionary “leaders”;  no protestor, however frenzied, killed anyone. Indeed, the only violent death was an unarmed veteran shot and killed by a — mysteriously unnamed–Capitol officer.  

No Capitol officer was murdered by Trump crazies. No one was arrested with a firearm.

No one any longer believes the government-peddled  great vaccination myth that systemic racism harms the marginalized from becoming vaccinated while recalcitrant white neanderthals endanger us all by conspiratorially refusing vaccination. 

In truth, there are plenty of vaccination spots everywhere now (one can walk into a pharmacy without an appointment and get a shot in minutes here in rural Fresno County). Whites have a higher percentage of  being vaccinated than Hispanics and blacks. And there are cultural and historical reasons, not current bias or racism, for the reluctance of the such groups.

The big lie is based on a measurement of those who were actually vaccinated rather than the availability of vaccinations to all, regardless of race. In California from the very beginning there were efforts to target minority/majority communities, and to add in groups other than adjudicated by age (which is an equal-opportunity co-morbidity of COVID-19).

Moreover, the media theme that a bunch of white deplorable nuts are endangering us all by not getting vaccinated, while historically oppressed minorities are not, by not getting vaccinated simply is eroding. With the government on the one hand worried sick that millions of doses will go unused, and with media hysterias on the other that the drug stores are wasting thousands of vaccinations that go unused, it is impossible to juggle the misinformation by simultaneously claiming that some minority groups are going unvaccinated because greedy whites grabbed all the doses and thus got vaccinated at disproportionate rates.

So each day as the woke Minster of Truth narratives mount, so does the skepticism of a weary public to the propaganda.

We are becoming cynical 1980s Eastern Europeans who quietly scoffed at their daily government news. And this is step one to a repudiation of the lies we have been living with—that masks were necessary outdoors even for those fully vaccinated; that derelict, sexual harasser Andrew Cuomo is a noted author, Emmy-winner and national icon rather than a reckless sexual-harasser and responsible for needless death and misery by his unhinged long-term facilities policies; that Oprah, LeBron,  and the Obamas are genuine voices of what it is like to be oppressed in America, and all the subsidiary untruths: the “brave” former intelligence officials who signed campaign-sensitive affidavits seconding Joe Biden’s insistence that Hunter’s laptop was a Russian disinformation trick; that Trump scoffed at “proof” that Russians put bounties on Americans in Afghanistan as they were appease;, and that Joe Biden has no cognitive issues and never did, at least of the sort that prompted his predecessor to take cognitive tests and draw the attention of a Yale psychiatry professor to diagnose him as unhinged in absentia.

In sum, the woke movement daily, hourly, second-by-second hinges on untruth, from the 1619 canard to America is systemically racist. And the number who spot the lies is beginning to outnumber the number who lives by them—which means the Revolution is likely to follow the Jacobin rather than Bolshevik fate.

 

Jonathan Turley: Congress May Have Restrained Capitol Police to Preserve False Lafayette Park Narrative

Constitutional law expert Jonathan Turley argued Wednesday that Congress may have prevented the U.S. Capitol Police from preparing for the January 6 riot to protect a false narrative about the reason Lafayette Square was cleared after riots in 2020.

Turley referred to an internal report by Capitol Police Inspector General Michael A. Bolton that revealed the force declined to deploy its Civil Disturbance Unit, and was ordered not to use the most powerful means at its disposal to disperse crowds.

The report apparently confirmed that there was a reluctance to send the National Guard to assist the Capitol Police due to “optics.” The Capitol Police report to the leadership of Congress, including Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Turley noted that Democrats and the media had promoted the false claim that President Donald Trump had used tear gas to clear “peaceful protesters” from Lafayette Square so that he could walk across it for a “photo-op” at the church across the street.

The Black Lives Matter protest at Lafayette Square, across from the White House, had included a riot that resulted in injuries to dozens of police officers. Journalists — including one from Breitbart News — were assaulted by those in the square.

Then-President-elect Joe Biden repeated the false claim on January 7, in the aftermath of the Capitol riot. As Breitbart News noted at the time, Biden recycled several false statements about Lafayette Square that he and his party used throughout 2020.

Turley noted that Attorney General William Barr had already ordered countermeasures — including perimeter fencing — before Trump’s walk across the park. Our Group's Take - I knew that the media and the leftists claims about Lafayette Park or false but I didn't realize just how false! Nor did I know a number of the different facts that were involved in that which are reported in this article. For example, I didn't know that dozens of police officers had already been injured although I knew that there had been attacks on them with frozen bottles and other such projectiles. I also didn't know that some journalists had been attacked.  I just can't get over how grossly and blatantly dishonest the left is - including its top leaders such as Biden, Obama, Harris, Pelosi, Schiff, Schumer, etc etc etc and of course including the mainstream media.

My Take - The moral foundation of the left knows no boundaries and is predicated on hate, envy, greed, violence.  Corruption and mendacity are the heart of leftism and that corruption knows no boundaries.

But the reality is he told his followers to be peaceful and patriotic. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., changed that on Sunday when he pointed to the speaker and asked where was she when it came to ensuring the protection of the legislative seat of the U.S. government?

The Sergeant at Arms of the House, under the direction of the speaker, is responsible for security, along with the U.S. Capitol Police. After the storming of the building, the chief of the Capitol Police resigned under pressure, according to The New York Times, and the sergeants-at-arms of the Senate and House resigned from their posts.

Count me as one who believes that the impeachment trial against former President Trump is an unconstitutional bill of attainder against a private citizen. Still, the proceeding is going to play out and it appears that Trump’s attorneys are going to fight hard. One of their plans in a case charging President Trump with inciting violence is to play for the Senate all the footage of Democrats inciting violence in 2020.

The problem for the Democrats going into the trial is one of evidence. The evidence against Trump isn’t just slim, it’s non-existent. The FBI has admitted that what happened at the Capitol was planned long before January 6. The planning did not involve Trump. There’s also evidence that the FBI knew about the plan against the Capitol in advance, but that the FBI, the Capitol Police, and the Democrats in charge of Congress did nothing with that information.

Uncontroverted evidence shows that Trump was still speaking when events began to play out at the Capitol. At that point, Trump had not yet asked his supporters at the vast Stop the Steal rally to peaceably go to the Capitol and cheer on Republican senators who were trying to get a hearing for election fraud claims. This is all a part of a massive movement by Democrats to punish Trump supporters in Congress. and destroy any opposition to their globalist socialist agenda working to destroy the Constitution in support of a system of world wide governance, now being called the Great Reset.   Call it Agenda 21, Agenda 30, the New Green Deal, or any other name, but unlike a rose, it's still stinks.

Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., also could be the target of a censure resolution in the House in the coming days,: and in the Senate, "Fox News reported Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, was calling for the expulsion of Sens. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and perhaps others for signing on to objections at the joint session."  And for my fellow Ohioans, Sherrod Brown has made similar demands.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld unloaded on what he claimed was the media’s double standard with regard to political violence, saying on Thursday’s “The Five” that consistency was what made conservatives different.

Gutfeld argued that vandalism and violence were bad no matter who the perpetrators were, saying that what set conservatives apart was that they did not pick and choose which violent mobs to condemn. 

“Vandalism and looting, whether it is D.C., Portland, Soho, Kenosha, Minneapolis, Seattle, it’s all bad no matter who he’s doing it,” Gutfeld began. “We must remain consistent. That’s what makes us different from the rest. We don’t play favorites with mobs. The other side does, but we don’t.”

Gutfeld went on to note that for him it was personal, because over the summer he had seen his own neighborhood trashed.

“I heard a pundit say that even Republicans are outraged by this behavior,” Gutfeld continued. “Duh. Republicans are always outraged by bad behavior, because they consistently, consistently embrace law and order, and condemn the destruction of private and public property. I do believe the Capitol is a sacred place. I also believe that the guy who invested his life savings in a small business, to him, that was a sacred place, too. Was the Capitol storming America's Reichstag fire?

It remains to be seen whether the incursion into the Capitol (Jan. 6, 2021) was the act solely of Trump-supporters or whether there was some involvement by Antifa agents provocateurs.  Given the propagandist character of the major news organizations, the facts may never be honestly sorted out.  For now, it may be important to note another incident in history of which the incursion reminds us.  Quoting from Wikipedia:  

The Reichstag fire was an arson attack on the Reichstag building, home of the German parliament in Berlin, on Monday 27 February 1933, precisely four weeks after Adolf Hitler was sworn in as Chancellor of Germany. Hitler's government ... attributed the fire to communist agitators. ... The Nazi Party used the fire as a pretext to claim that communists were plotting against the German government, which made the fire pivotal in the establishment of Nazi Germany.

Repeat for emphasis: "pivotal in the establishment of Nazi Germany."

The breach of the Capitol was an obvious set-up

What happened at the Capitol building on Wednesday, to my eyes, obviously was a stratagem to destroy the president's popularity and support and overshadow the challenges to the Electoral College vote.  The building was breached at the beginning of that process and riveted the media news feeds.  Members of Congress were evacuated with hoods over their heads as if they were in grave danger.

The tech monopolies have sprung into action

On Friday, although President Trump is still president of the United States, Twitter officially and permanently banned him from the site.  The other media sites were not far behind.  Indeed, they're systematically banning anyone associated with Trump's contention that there was election fraud.  Moreover, they're doing so by erasing Trump's actual words in order to present him as a vicious agitator.  They're also erasing the more than half a million peaceful supporters in D.C. to focus only on a small cohort.

On Wednesday, more than half a million peaceful people showed up in D.C. to support President Trump.  A minute percentage of that group ended up in the Capitol, and the police killed an unarmed Air Force veteran.  (Defund the Police has been silent about this killing.)  Debate will rage about whether Trump supporters were set up.  For the purposes of this post, the only thing that matters is that it was the justification the tech monopolies needed to start a purge.

AntiFa Takes Credit For Capitol Riot And Congress Bows Down

There was good that came out on January 6^th. Trump supporter’s eyes were finally opened to see the twisted world President Donald Trump has endured over the last 4 years. Both Republicans and Democrats are stakeholders in the voting services companies. None of the stakeholders can afford any light be shone publically or in a courtroom on this mess. 

There are still ongoing court cases being pressed. In all this time none of the evidence has been looked at in any of the cases. Any of these cases or the appeals stemming from them can still reverse what happened on January 6^th on a Constitutional basis. 

I have not found one of the election fraud cases brought to court against ES&S, Dominion, or related companies over the last 18 years that has been allowed to present evidence. The upcoming cases will be the first time. 

On January 6^th, we were supposed to see 12 hours of evidence supporting Trump’s claims of election fraud to Congress openly with the whole world watching American Democracy in action.  A contingent of protestors invaded, vandalized and occupied portions of the U.S. Capitol on January 6^th -- as the constitutional process of electoral college certification of the 2020 presidential election results was getting underway. The mob violence was an outright assault on the greatest constitutional republic in the world. But instead of making an effort to unite the country against such anarchy, the Left’s leaders and their friends in the establishment media are applying their usual double standard of “for thee, but not for me.” Not surprisingly, they are blaming President Trump for the Capitol unrest, falsely claiming he incited violence during his speech to supporters at Wednesday’s otherwise peaceful “Save America” rally.

President Trump and his supporters at the rally were simply exercising their First Amendment rights of free speech and peaceable assembly. The president’s refusal to concede an election marred by reports of widespread fraud which troubled many voters was not an incitement to violence, nor was his presentation of evidence of a stolen election.

Who Is Guilty of Inciting Riots?

In the wake of the storming of the Capitol, many are blaming President Trump for the violence. Of course, he never instructed anyone to engage in violence. Nevertheless, his critics argue that he stoked people's passions, which he did, and can therefore be held accountable. 

If this is the standard—inflammatory rhetoric—then Trump's critics are at best ethically compromised. Consider the following remarks, made by the kind of people who are now hammering the president.

• "I need you to get out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face." Presidential candidate Barack Obama, 2008
