First the Greens starved NYC for power by blocking natural gas and scheduling nuclear power for shutdown.
Now they’re saddling, what is perhaps the world’s greatest city, with a host of destructive environmental / climate policies guaranteed to do real damage and no meaningful good.
Mayor Bill de Blasio chose Earth Day to unveil his own “Green New Deal,” in this case a $14 billion strategic plan designed to reduce the City’s “carbon footprint…before it’s too late.”

My Take - At some point all this leftist insanity is going to catch up to these people who live in NYC and think leftist loons like DeBlasio, or as he was known as in 1961 when he was born, Warren Wilhelm Jr., and they're going to start whining how the federal government must help them out of their mess. Well, tough going brother. You made your bed and now you can lay in it. NYC is going bankrupt and when it's all said and done we can look them in the eye and honestly say they did it the old fashioned way. They earned it! You want socialism, you got socialism. An equality of misery.
