In “1984” George Orwell exposed the Communist tactic of redefining words to promote a purpose. “Diversity is our strength,” is one such phrase the leftist Democrats hatched for their purpose. Saying something contrary or outrageous and then “proving it” with nonsensical, illogical arguments. It is a powerful tool in controlling the minds of men, especially when they are young and able to go to war.
When liberals cannot prove what they say they accuse you of being a bigot, racist, “red neck” or bumpkin for not agreeing with them, saying, “Everybody knows!” That you differ with them refutes that claim and so what? Everybody knew the Earth was flat. Everybody knew Negroes were not human beings. Everybody knew America made the finest cars in the world. Everybody knew if men were meant to fly they would have wings. Everybody knows that if we didn’t stop burning fossil fuel Florida will be under water and New York City will drown. Everybody knows we don’t need to bother with data any more as man-caused climate change is “settled science.” The surest sign of a false axiom, fact or concept is “Everybody knows…”
