Background Info Boston Bombers, Chechnya, Terror History

By Clash Daily / 19 April 2013 / 4 Comments
An excellent summary from Gary Bauer’s “End of Day” report of what is known so far about the apparent Boston terrorists and the background of their native country, its terror history, etc.Worth the one minute to peruse …….We have reported on occasion that Al Qaeda wanted to recruit Muslims who did not fit the profile — recent converts, white Europeans, Muslims from Bosnia and Chechnya who do not appear Middle Eastern. It seems as though the Salon columnist who hoped the bomber(s) was white got his prayer answered. They are white. But guess what? They are also radicalized Muslims!
Having grown up here, why would they turn on us? This is not a new phenomenon. The Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Hasan, was born in this country. Many recent terror plots in England involved not Middle Eastern immigrants, but their British-born children.
Western countries have adopted very liberal immigration policies, but they have failed to assimilate immigrants. And pervasive political correctness in the public education system often teaches them that Western Civilization is to blame for much of the world’s ills. They are being taught by the likes of Bill Ayers and Ward Churchill……. To Read More…..
My Take - Since we both spend a lot of time on the road a friend called me last night to ask if I had been following this on the radio.  He was upset at the coverage because they were working themselves to death to avoid calling these two homicidal Islamists what they are.  I said that I was listening to NPR (are you shocked?) that morning where an expert (their description) on the region was being interviewed as to his views on these two fanatics from Chechnya.  As he described the Islamic radicalism going there and the Russians challenges in dealing with them the interviewer interrupted to say that the uprising against the Russians was a nationalist movement and not a religious one.  Once again attempting to obfuscate the reality of a worldwide Islamic terrorist movement that is at war with the west.  The expert said that was true in the beginning it was a nationalist movement, but it had morphed into a religious movement, and was now an effort to actually create an independent Muslim Emirate in the Caucuses.  It was now an Islamic movement.

As one commentator stated:  "Chechnya is a majority Sufi Islamic nation, but ultra-conservative Wahhabism has been gaining strength in recent years and sending a wave of violence and fear throughout Chechnya. Wahhabis believe in the literal interpretation of the Qur’an. The majority Wahhabi state of Saudi Arabia produced the 9/11 terrorists and Osama Bin Ladin. The Saudi government is also funding Wahhabi schools in the United States. This has been a concern of those following the issue, mainly because textbooks from the schools teach violent and racist Islamic doctrine."

All the efforts to protect the civilian population will ultimately fail until we have clarity on this subject.  Without clear definitions there can be no clear understanding.  Without clear understanding there can be no clear solutions.  And the west’s hodgepodge Politically Correct reactions to this merely encourages more of the same, and when the leader of the western world, the President of the United States, refuses to acknowledge reality it goes beyond a failure of clarity, a failure of understanding and a failure to create effective solutions; it is a failure of his oath of office, and equally so for those around him.  The question that remains to be answered is whether or not it’s treason.
