I have only been following Humberto Fontova over the last six or seven years, and in the process I have learned more about Castro and the Cuba he destroyed than all that I read in the previous fifty years. I remember all of this as a child. I remember the whole Castro nightmare with the daily executions on the news....and yet they never once conveyed the idea that Cuba was not in need of a revolution because economic and social conditions were horrible. The information in this article about the CIA is the tip of the iceberg. If you wish to read more on just how corrupt American politicians, Hollywood celebrities, the CIA, and the American media have been on this issue, Please review articles by Mr. Fontova from my Castro Notes link.

Alas, none of this features in The Godfather II. So it’s mostly unknown. From this base Castro and Che created an island slum, sewer and prison ravaged by diseases unknown in Cuba since 1900, boasting the highest suicide rate in the hemisphere and repelling even Haitians. This after stealing $2 billion from U.S. businessmen, $25 billion from Cubans and being lavished with the equivalent of ten Marshall Plans by Soviet subsidies. This socialist economic feat defies not only the laws of economics but seemingly the very laws of physics.......
