I just watched this podcast by George Friedman regarding Germany the AdF and European unity, and for the most part I agree with much of what he's said in that there will never be a “unified” Europe. Europe is a continent of competing nations speaking over 200 languages and having their own cultural peculiarities, and the new generation believes it has the right to determine their own fate and not be bound by the restrictions imposed by the events of WWII. That's especially true in Germany.
The EU is an illusion, and a destructive one. NATO was the only thing that held them together. However, I do think this election victory by the AfD in Germany is big; much bigger than many may think. We're coming into the final stages of this historical cycle, and it's been my view for years somewhere in the political movements of these nations there's a Hitler or Mussolini style character with the rhetorical charisma to charm the populace into a massive political upset, including violence.
The difference is they're not going to be concerned with conquering the world. Their focus will be on saving ethnic Europeans and the European culture, and that's going be a binding force among these like movements emerging in Europe. It's already taking shape in Ireland, the UK, France, and now Spain after this Ceuta disaster.
The difference between the mass migration from Europe to the US was all those people who came to America wanted to become Americans. Not Serbs, Hungarians, Poles, etc, who just happened to live in America, but Americans who just happened to be of different ethnic origins. Muslims don't want to be Germans, French, Brits or Spanish, they want Europeans to abandon European culture and become Muslims....or else.
You have to wonder what in the world possesses these European “leaders” to hate their nation, their culture, and their people so much, and the people are going to rebel. While this is being debated as to how big this election was, I think this is huge, and I think will spread throughout Germany and the rest of Europe. The outrages perpetrated by Muslims all over Europe has taken it's toll, and those politicians who've supported all this immigration and covered over the facts are going to pay, and I also believe the transition will involve massive levels of violence, and Russia will be the least of their concerns. Europe is in a downward swirling vortex of economic destruction, and nothing's going to stop it.
