Everything we are told should bear some resemblance to what we see going on in reality. History has shown us that not only has this happened since the 70’s….we saw the same kind of scare mongering back to the late 1800’s and the early 1900’s.

“From the late 1800's through the 1920's Americans were convinced via the print media that we were heading for the next Ice Age. Yes, Global Cooling! In 1895 the New York Times (the paper of record) wrote, "Geologists think the world may be frozen up again". In 1912 the L.A. Times reported, "The fifth Ice Age is on the way". Chicago Tribune, 1923, "Scientists say Arctic Ice will wipe out Canada all the way down to the Great Lakes". 1924, New York Times, "Signs of a new Ice Age". This reporting continued through the balance of the '20's.”

This historical background should automatically make any intelligent person question anything about uncontrolled climate change, and most assuredly when the scare mongers claim it is being caused by humanity.

The only difference between then and now is that there wasn’t a sugar daddy like the federal government promoting and funding this nonsense. Take the funding away and global warming will be forgotten as quickly as the next bad winter…..because reality shows it is nonsense.

By the way….your comment is a logical fallacy known as the appeal to authority; and it was smarmy! I don’t like smarmy….I don’t mind disagreement but I don’t allow smarmy. Don’t do that again or you will not be allowed to post.
Rich Kozlovichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13745960671409518147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2556326304729519232.post-30543056400892182272012-08-21T07:24:51.023-04:002012-08-21T07:24:51.023-04:00HMMM.
