Ballot Fraud, Felonies, and Theft – But Mail-In Voting is Safe?

Democrats continue to insist that mail-in voting is not vulnerable to fraud. We continue to see evidence to the contrary.

As election day draws ever closer, the anxiety about mail-in ballots is only increasing. President Donald Trump has consistently warned about the dangers of voting by mail and the increased likelihood of errors and discrepancies – whether intentional or accidental. There have been a few published incidents, but they have been downplayed and listed as inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. A few ballots lost here or there is no big deal, right? What about when mayoral candidates get busted for fraud, or postal workers caught dumping ballots in the trash, or even thieves stealing them from mailboxes?

The left would say it’s all a conspiracy theory created by Trump fans who are looking for any way to sway the election. However, these instances are not only real, but they all happened just this month. And that’s not counting other times and issues with mail-in ballots.

Mayoral Candidate Charged With 109 Felonies

The Denton County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Zul Mirza Mohamed, a candidate for mayor for Carrollton, TX, with 109 felonies related to voter fraud, according to the department. Mohamed was charged with 25 second-degree felony counts of unlawful possession of a ballot or ballot envelope without permission or request from a voter and 84 third-degree felony counts of fraudulent use of mail ballot application.

Authorities were first alerted to the case on Sept. 23 after the Denton County Elections Office suggested a possibility of fraudulent activities regarding voting ballots. According to the report, absentee ballots were requested to be sent to a P.O. box that reportedly belonged to a nursing home. However, after investigation, law enforcement discovered that none of the voters had requested that their ballots be sent to the post office box. Further investigation revealed more serious issues with the post office box. It had been obtained with a fraudulent Texas driver’s license and a fictitious University of North Texas student ID.

An undercover officer was placed at the post office, and on Oct. 7 a box of ballots was picked up at the office. After obtaining a search warrant for the residence to which the ballots were taken, authorities discovered the box of mail with opened ballots, as well as the fraudulent identification used to open the account at the box office.

Mohamed ran for the mayor’s seat in 2017 and lost to incumbent Kevin Falconer. At that time, his past police record was brought up, which included a Class A assault – family violence – and providing false information to an officer. It is unclear which political party he belongs to. The number of ballots compromised had not been released at the time of this writing.

Postal Worker Gone Postal?

After authorities received a call reporting bundles of mail found discarded in dumpsters in North Arlington, NJ, they recovered about 2,000 pieces of mail, including 99 general election ballots as well as hundreds of campaign flyers on Oct. 2 and again on Oct.5. Mail carrier Nicholas Beauchene, 26, was charged with delay or detention of mail as well as obstruction of mail. Beauchene started working for the postal service in July, and authorities said he was the only carrier assigned to the addresses that were on the discarded mail.

Mail-Box Robbery

In North County, NC, footage from a residential security camera revealed a man stealing mail from mailboxes. On Oct. 6, the day mail-in ballots were delivered, the man was caught on camera – wearing a baseball cap, face mask, and gloves – opening boxes and removing the contents. Several pieces of the stolen mail, including mail-in ballots, were found several blocks away in the trunk of a parked vehicle.

We are not yet halfway into the month of October, but these are just the known and reported instances that have happened in the past ten days. There are plenty more instances, however, such as on Sept. 21 in Pennsylvania, where several completed ballots had been tampered with and discarded – seven of those were votes for Trump. On Sept. 22, Greenville, WI police found three trays of mail in a ditch near the Appleton International Airport, including absentee ballots. And, as Liberty Nation’s Sarah Cowgill reported, Project Veritas released an undercover video that alleges associates of Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) are participating in harvesting ballots on the streets.

Still think it’s a conspiracy or made up bologna? The left does and continues to push for mail-in voting to become the new norm.
