Clapper ‘Disappointed’ That AG William Barr Says Obama Administration Spied on Trump Campaign

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who served under the Obama administration, told CNN Wednesday that it is “both stunning and scary” that Barr would tell Congress that the Trump campaign was spied on by the government.

“I thought it was both stunning and scary,” said Clapper. “I was amazed at that and rather disappointed that the attorney general would say such a thing. The term ‘spying’ has all kinds of negative connotations and I have to believe he chose that he chose that term deliberately.”

My Take - He'd better be scared, because they've given Trump their best shots and he's still standing.  Now it's his turn! 

One more thing.  What's the word predicated mean? 

Is that like Clinton attempting to justify lying by saying during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, "It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If 'is' means 'is and never has been' that's one thing - if it means 'there is none', that was a completely true statement."

Could be.  He needs to go to jail also.
