Jacob Rees-Mogg: Rule of Law is Foundational to Democracy

By Rich Kozlovich

Most of us have never heard of this man, certainly not in America.  But he's come to my attention recently because he's been described as "a 48-year-old Eton-educated, traditionalist, monarchy-supporting, devout Catholic, social conservative, who.... has been called the “Honourable Member for the 18th century,” who inspires a grassroots campaign, fueled by young Brits"  I think describing him as unflappable would also apply.

And there are many others who wonder why?

Here's why!  Note how he explains how the EU undermines the rule of law and democracy through the use of unelected bureaucrats and corrupt courts, destroying the very fabric of democratic governance in favor of tyranny.   It's my opinion no one in English politics has been as articulate or as eloquent since Margaret Thatcher.  I think we might want to watch this man as he may end up and the Prime Minister of England some day.
