The School District of Philadelphia is making it simple to scan and evaluate charter schools. In a two-week span, the district published sleek profiles and deep performance evaluations that will serve as a powerful tool for parents exploring school choice options.  “This significant addition to the public discourse on charter school performance will raise the degree of transparency for all Philadelphia charter schools,” said DawnLynne Kacer, executive director of the district’s Charter Schools Office. “We hope this transparency will empower the community at large to engage all charter schools and their stakeholders in moving towards best practice standards to benefit students.”.....To Read More....
