Stuff You Didn't See On The News

I guarantee that the likelihood of seeing this on the news runs so low that I would be amazed if the odds were any better than zero to nothing.

Catholic Group: "Pray for Paul Ryan's Change of Heart"

It’s the ultimate in Catholic double standards: a website called Pray For Paul’s Change Of Heart launched this week, calling for Catholics to pray that he abandons his Path to Prosperity budget in favor of something more in line with the Church’s social justice teachings. If you click around, you can also find a page with one sentence requesting prayers for Vice President Joe Biden, noted adamant supporter of the pro-choice cause. (It says nothing of Kathleen Sebelius, whose Mass attendance doesn’t exactly jive with her record of eschewing established Catholic doctrine.)

In condemning Ryan’s budget, the site pulls from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ letter to Ryan, which outlines the criteria the Church feels a Catholic policymaker ought to consider when crafting budgetary policy:… The Catholic Church has mixed itself up with Caesar, and conflated its mission to serve the poor with government subsidized entitlement programs.... All this is to say, there's some misplaced "Catholic outrage" at play here. To pray that Catholic politicians make decisions that reflect their faith is a wonderful thing to do. But condemning a man who adheres to absolute life doctrine while taking a fiscally conservative position on an issue of no intrinsic evil -- all while ignoring the much more blatant sins present in certain other politicians -- is morally dishonest.

My Take - Is it a matter of morally dishonest or is it a matter of cognitive dissonance?

Genocide looms for white farmers

South Africa's black president sings killing songs as thousands massacred - The eyes of the world were on South Africa two decades ago as the apartheid era came to an end and Western governments helped bring the communist-backed African National Congress to power. Last month, however, when Genocide Watch chief Gregory Stanton declare that white South African farmers were facing a genocidal onslaught and that communist forces were taking over the nation, virtually nobody noticed. Few outside of South Africa paid attention either when, earlier this year, the president of South Africa began publicly singing songs advocating the murder of whites.

The silence is so deafening that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didn’t even publicly mention the problems when she was there last week. Instead, she was busy dancing, pledging billions of dollars and praising the ruling government…… Tens of thousands of whites have been murdered throughout South Africa, too, according to estimates……

Disemboweled, drowned in boiling water - Many more victims have been savagely tortured, raped, disemboweled, drowned in boiling water or worse. The horrifying evidence is available for the world to see on countless sites throughout the Internet: pictures of brutalized dead women and children – even babies.

My Take - End Apartheid Now! Wasn't that the sign that Bill Cosby demanded the show’s producers put up on the set of The Cosby Show, insisting on the importance to black Americans, and that every black home would have one….or something of that nature; and the media blasted anyone who disagreed! Who knows, he might have been right, although I serviced a lot of apartments occupied by black folks in those days and I don’t remember seeing one. There may have been some, but the numbers would have been so small as to not make it a noticeable situation.

The problem with Americans is that we only see their world through binoculars in reverse and in irrational ways. We think that because we live the way we do that is the way everyone should live, and everyone should have the same privileges we have, and the results will be ‘little Americas' all over the world because we will all think alike and see the world in the same ways. And this goes to both sides of the philosophical spectrum. Bush’s drive to bring democracy to the Muslim world worked so well that the minute they had the right to vote they promptly voted in a radical Islamist groups who promptly work to take away their right to vote. Voting and individual rights is antithetical to the Muslim faith. What does the word Islam mean?
In Arabic usage Islam implies “absolute submission, surrender and obedience that is obeying the injunctions of the ruler without objection.”
No matter what anyone says to the contrary --we need to observer reality-- and that is what goes on in reality.

As for South Africa; they have the same problem that all of Africa has; corruption of leadership on a massive scale that is foundational to the African experience. In days before the European colonization of Africa, they were ruled by tyrannical kings. That is their social foundation. They have merely returned to that which is foundational to their societies.

America is unique in the world today and for that matter in all of world history. We really believe we won’t be told what to do, what to eat, what to wear, what we are taught or what we will believe. Why? Because for the first time in human history we were a society created from the bottom up. Demanding that black Africa be just like black America was irrational, because South Africa, much like the rest of the world, is a very complex society, without any national standard as to language, religion or societal structural philosophy.

In 1948, “National Party leaders argued that South Africa did not comprise a single nation, but was made up of four distinct racial groups: white, black, coloured, and Indian. These groups were split further into thirteen nations or racial federations. White people encompassed the English and Afrikaans language groups; the black populace was divided into ten such groups.”

If there was ever a good reason to abandon this insanity called ‘multiculturalism’ South Africa is a perfect example.

The French Revolution was such a failure for the very reason that the American Revolution as such a success. Minimal government with every man making his own decisions about life versus the French concept of central planning run by an elite, which promptly started murdering untold numbers that had done nothing to deserve having their heads cut off. There is a reason the current French government is the Fifth Republic and may be on the way to a Sixth. Central planning!

As for Africa….as bad as some things were under the colonial powers, it can be argued that it couldn’t have been as bad as it is now. No one in American…at least among normal people….likes the idea of anyone being declared officially inferior. It is antithetical to our very concept of existence. However, that is what goes on in much of the rest of the world all the time, especially in Africa. They do not view members of other tribes as equals. They view them as inferiors to be exploited. In the Muslim world the public is finally becoming aware that these leaders and their governments are nothing more than tribal societies with one tribe in charge. Many times made up of one of the sects of Islam, and consider the other sects, who may be members of other tribes, as infidels, and can subsequently exploited.

Where is the media and Hollywood now! Where are the protestors now? Where is the Federal government now? Where are the embargos now? Most importantly…..Where is Nelson Mandela and Bishop Desmond Tutu? Perhaps dancing with Hillary Clinton, who while in South Africa found time to dance but had no time to notice the atrocities against whites in South Africa.

Remembering that this was a country that abolished slavery in 1833 I would like to ask; did the white government of South Africa perform the atrocities that the black South African government is either perpetrating, promoting or allowing to happen now? If so….I don’t remember it on the news of them main stream media at the time; so I think we can assume it wasn’t normal or ongoing.

I will guarantee that you didn’t see these next two articles on the news and is a great follow up from what was just stated.. One of the reasons I want to post these is due to a recent conversation I had with a woman that claims the Founding Fathers were Deists. Although I think a claim can be made for at least one, but there were a lot of people who signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and they were undoubtedly Christians; and in point of fact one state’s Constitution made that a requirement in order to serve in the Congress.

We can argue unendingly the correctness of this, but the issue we are dealing with is this. Were the founding Fathers believers and did they subscribe to the idea that the only way this Republic could work was if America continued to be a nation of believers based on the Judaic/Christian principles that with extraordinary rights went an understood requirement for accepting extraordinary responsibilities. Multiculturalism is antithetical to Americanism. We really need to start seeing the world as it is and the consequences of adopting insane policies. Multiculturalism is based on the mistaken idea that all cultures are equal...only the PC crowd wants us to think that all cultures are equal except the American culture.

I have a question. If the American culture is so bad why are so many trying to get here...even illegally...and with the support of those who decry our culture! And if the American culture is so bad why is it Americans aren't flocking to get passports to live in every other country in the world?

The Price of Liberty, Part 1: Achieving a Right Perspective

Is America still the land of the free and the home of the brave? Or is our nation dangerously adrift on a sea of complacency and immorality? Too often we are content to think only of our families and ourselves, and ignore the world around us. We pay little attention to the continual changes taking place in governmental policies. Like the frog in lukewarm water—unaware that the water is boiling until it is too late for him to leap—we, too, may be in more danger than we realize. When more than 3,000 babies are aborted every day, the Bible and the Ten Commandments are removed from the classroom, and prayer in the school is forbidden, it is time to assess where we are as a nation. Psalm 33:12 states: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.”……Imagine with me the following scenario………….“I may be one of seven in this house, but because I believe that your belief system is out of date, I demand that you be silenced while I pillage and reinterpret your faith for you. I demand that you accept my new understanding of the foundational principles of your life.”

The Price of Liberty, Part 2: A Declaration of Dependence

Last week, I introduced a new series, titled: The Price of Liberty. In this series, I address the troubling changes occurring in our country, why they are happening, and what to do about them. America, in her generosity and kindness, has always opened her doors to immigrants like me. I am most thankful and appreciative for that. I also want to assure you that many modern-day immigrants want the America envisioned by her Founding Fathers. We want the America of which George Washington said, “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”….. For a moment, let’s look back at history. On July 4, 1776……. Their intentions are clearly stated in the closing words of the Declaration of Independence: “With firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”

Psychologists blacklist conservative colleagues
'The more liberal respondents are, the more willing they are to discriminate'

A recent study by Tilburg University is gaining attention for its stunning conclusion that among psychologists, conservatives have reason to fear negative consequences should their political beliefs be revealed. “In decisions ranging from paper reviews to hiring, many social and personality psychologists admit that they would discriminate against openly conservative colleagues,” the authors, Yoel Inbar and Joris Lammers, wrote.

“The more liberal respondents are, the more willing they are to discriminate.”

The study was done by the two members of the Department of Social Psychology at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. They warned specifically that conservatives who fear harm if their colleagues discover their leanings “are right to do so.”

How much electricity do solar and wind make on a global scale? Answer: “Not much”

Simple numbers are hard to get, so when Anton Lang pointed me at the EIA site (U.S. Energy Information Administration), I wanted to give everyone the straight answer to the question: just how much electricity do renewables make on a global scale? The EIA has the only database in the world with a this much accuracy. The answer is that 80% of our electricity comes from the fossil fuels and nuclear that the Greens despise. Hydroelectricity, with all its pluses and minuses, produces a serious 16% of the total. But all the vanity renewables bundled together make about 3.5% of the total. Wind power is a major global industry but it’s only making in the order of 1.4% of total electricity. And solar is so pathetically low that it needs to be bundled with “tidal and wave” power to even rate 0.1% (after rounding up). (Emphasis added)

For all the fuss and money, if the world’s solar powered units all broke tonight, it would not dent global electricity production a jot. No one connected to a grid would notice.

This 'REALLY' falls under the "We Have Lost Our Minds" category. Your "Duty" To Protect and Serve the Police

Police have no enforceable duty to protect an individual threatened by criminal violence. A lawsuit recently filed in New Hampshire demonstrates that police are taught to assume that citizens have a moral and legal duty to protect them.

Beverly Mutrie of Greenland, New Hampshire is being sued by four police officers who were wounded during an April 12 shootout at the home of her late son, Cullen. Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney was killed in the gunfight. Following an eight-hour standoff involving SWAT operators and dozens of police officers, Cullen and his girlfriend, Brittany Tibbetts, were found dead in what was described as a murder-suicide…….If Cullen Mutrie, who was 6’3” tall and weighed 275 pounds, was involved in criminal conduct, what was his mother supposed to do about it – spank him? Assuming that she was aware of his activities, she could have called the police, who had already been investigating her son for nearly two years. If she had been an accomplice or an accessory, Mrs. Mutrie would face criminal charges, rather than what amounts to an extortion attempt.

The persecution of Beverly Mutrie is neither the first, nor the worst, case of its kind.

In June 2007 Karen Mies, a 66-year-old hospice nurse from Shingle Springs, California, suffered two losses no wife and mother should ever endure. Her husband, 72-year-old Arthur, was killed in an entirely unanticipated act of irrational violence on the part of their 35-year-old son, Eddie………
