The Trump Prosecutors Have Lost the Confidence of the People - April 17, 2024 - 1 in 5 Dems and 4 out of 10 independents think the justice system is rigged against Trump.  The media is pushing this AP poll as evidence that the trials have demonstrated Trump’s ineligibility for office. The numbers aren’t great, but they’re worse for the system. Much as the Left trashed the credibility of the media to get Republicans, they’ve now trashed the credibility of the justice system to get Trump. Only 31% of the public is very confident that state prosecutors in New York are treating Trump fairly. Another 22% are middling while 44% are not at all confident.  Even 17% of Dems are skeptical, among Independents, 44% to 47% are skeptical. The numbers get worse for state prosecutors in Georgia and worse still for federal prosecutors...............

White Producer Sues Al Roker for Not Being Diverse Enough - April 17, 2024 - Roker is being sued for not discriminating against white writers.    Nearly every studio and outlet now has DEI requirements which translate into discriminating against qualified talent over diversity quotas. They’ve led to occasional lawsuits and government legislation to end this practice of illegal discrimination, but this is a unique lawsuit filed by a white producer against Al Roker, for not discriminating against white writers. A white liberal attacking a prominent black personality for not being DEI enough is a good snapshot of an insane racist industry where discrimination is driven more by white ideologues than minority talent........The world’s worst white man is suing a black man for discriminating on the basis of race… because he didn’t discriminate on the basis of race......

Biden Refuses to Testify Before Congress About Chinese Business Dealings - April 16, 2024 - If you’re a Trump administration official and you refuse to appear in front of a partisan witchhunt committee, you can go to prison, but if you’re Joe Biden and you turn down an invite, well then you’ve somehow erased its existence.At least that’s the theory that the media is going with in heralding Biden’s refusal to testify before the House Oversight Committee as the “end of the investigation”. Refusing to testify doesn’t actually end an investigation.  But Team Biden is hyping a response letter from Biden’s counsel as if it were some sort of slam dunk.  “Did you ever ask your brother James Biden about the source of the funds he used to pay or repay you?”................

Military Continues Covering Up Abbey Gate Bombing for Biden - April 16, 2024 - “Not preventable at the tactical level”.   U.S. Central Command released its latest phase of the report on the Abbey Gate terrorist attack which killed 13 American servicemembers during Biden’s botched evacuation from Afghanistan. Predictably the report claims that the attack was not preventable even though there had been calls to close the gate, Marine snipers had identified the bomber who had been released by the Taliban after Biden’s decision to abandon Bagram Air Base and the terrorists who were there and asked for permission to take him out, but were denied. Was Abbey Gate preventable? Obviously. At multiple levels. Beginning with Biden’s decision to abandon Bagram to the same punishing rules of engagement that prioritized Muslim civilians over American soldiers................

My own guess would be that Israel targeted some of the Iranian facilities where the attacks had originated from in demonstration strikes meant to show that it could strike deep into Iran..............

Obama conducted his own mass amnesty of illegals while his headwaiter-in-chief opened the borders to a mass invasion on an almost incomprehensible scale since the Mongols stormed China or the Turkish Muslim Jihad invaded Europe. (Both then and now.) So while it’s technically illegal to be an illegal alien, that law won’t be enforced, but the social sanctions on anyone calling an illegal alien that are far worse even with the lack of any laws. (The same goes for a man who decides to shower with young girls while arguing that he’s really a ‘transgender woman’.).................

NPR's Skin is Thin

Truth is the sublime convergence of history and reality.

On April 17, 2024 I published this piece, My Gazette: Media Collapse and Corruption II, and I opened up starting with NPR, and two cartoons, including this one, discussing the exposure of NPR being a taxpayer funded propaganda organ for leftism, and they didn't like it.  

"Yet,  NPR turned a “blind eye” to the Hunter Biden laptop story, the laptop was indeed newsworthy and that it revealed a “connection to the corrupt world of influence peddling."  Furthermore, "when it became known that [Hunter Biden's] laptop was indeed real — and not Russian disinformation as 51 former intelligence officials had claimed, NPR did not fess up to its “misjudgment.”'

'Apparently he's been suspended, and I'm sure soon to be fired, by Woke NPR CEO Katherine Maher who thinks “We All Have Different Truths".    Really?  Nah, get real Kate, truth is singular.  It's either truth, or it's not, and when it's not, in the past it was called a lie.  But then, that was in the past".    

Well, this story has taken on legs, and Silvio Canto Jr. noted: NPR makes the case for its own defunding saying:

Diversity at NPR is a one-way street going left.....I don't care if NPR wants to pander to the wokes or preach their message.  We can turn off the radio or switch to something we'd rather hear.  We can go somewhere else and get more balanced information.  Unfortunately, our taxes are funding a portion of the NPR or PBS programming.  It forces us to finance something that we don't support and that's not right.

Then we have a group that has no trouble besmirching others and yet has a mighty thin skin, NPR freaks out as conservative activist resurfaces CEO's wild tweets:

'I can't stop crying with relief,' she wrote after Biden won presidency “She wrote on X in May 2020 that while ‘looting is counterproductive,’ it was ‘hard to be mad about protests not prioritizing the private property of a system of oppression founded on treating people’s ancestors as private property.’”

An NPR reporter claimed on Tuesday that conservative activist Christopher Rufo was "targeting" the outlet's CEO Katherine Maher because he shared her old social media posts, reflecting pro-Democrat and progressive ideals.

NPR last month, showed her support for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020 while criticizing former President Trump. She also espoused progressive ideals and critical race theory language, like how she regretted using a protest sign that stated, "This is crazy" because it was "abelist."

Given her history it seems pretty clear she is an issue all by herself, as Lucas Nolan notes "how she ruined" Wikipedia "by turning away from “free and open” discussions on the “online Wikipedia” because that goal represents a “white male westernized construct.”'

There are some things that ring clear as a bell. They've always been far left, they really are thin skinned, they're not concerned about truth, they're not concerned with facts, they're only concerned about narratives, and they are guilty of, at the very least, lies of omission, and Maher is now going to drive them even farther left.  And this is the woman that called Donald Trump a ‘deranged racist sociopath’.  Imagine that.    And they're tax payer funded.

The Beast is Here

Recently I read this piece, What rough beast, its hour come round at last, by someone who styles himself as Charles Martel, with a picture of him wearing a crown.  Whether of not that's his real name I will leave up to you.  But, for the uninitiated, Charles Martel, AKA, the Hammer of France, was the de facto ruler of France, and prevented the Muslim Moors from overwhelming Europe by defeating them at the Battle of Tours in 732 C.E.    

Well, I didn't know what the "rough beast" phrase meant, so I did a quick search and found out that's a much quoted line taken from a poem, by William Butler Yeats:

Turning and turning in the widening gyre   

The falcon cannot hear the falconer;

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere   

The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

The best lack all conviction, while the worst   

Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;

Surely the Second Coming is at hand.   

The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out   

When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi

Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert   

A shape with lion body and the head of a man,   

A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,   

Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it   

Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.   

The darkness drops again; but now I know   

That twenty centuries of stony sleep

Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,   

And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,   

Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

 

Okay, that's the reason I never read poems.  So what's all that mean?  This was right after WWI, and we really do need to try and understand the impact of all the destruction, death, and suffering that war made on people's minds and hearts. 

 

Western civilization before 1914 considered itself beyond that kind of insanity.  Germany and France were considered Europe's cultural centers for education, science, and philosophy.  The common people saw a world of wondrous advancement, with hopes and visions of a bright future for their children.  That was not to be. 

 

WWI was the most significant event in modern history, and was merely a prelude to WWII, irreversibly destroying 2000 years of progress leaving a dark and frighten world without pity, plagued by a "tidal wave darkened by blood", with "pure destruction and lawlessness spread across the world."

What they saw then is what we're seeing now.  I've read three books on historical cycles, and while I recommend reading those kinds of books, understand, they're difficult at best, if for no other reason they don't share a common lexicon.  But they all agree on one thing.  We're now at the end of a historical cycle.

All end cycle scenarios depict a plague of economic collapse and violence.  The beast is here.

INTERNATIONAL

SWEDEN—The Scandinavian country of 10.6 million has a big problem with immigration—legal and illegal. That’s why the government reintroduced border control that is effective from November 12, 2023 through May 11, 2024. The Swedish government says it must control immigration as current numbers are a threat to public order and internal security. 

In “Sweden Looks Into the Abyss,” Stefan Hedlund writes:

“Present-day Sweden carries the dubious distinction of having the highest rate of gangland killings in Europe. It boasts the lowest average age of serious offenders, with children in their low teens being arrested for murder. Increasing segments of suburbs are officially classified as “especially vulnerable areas,” where it is “hard, bordering on impossible” for the police to operate. In layman’s terms, these are no-go zones, where local clans rule and where first responders will not enter without flak jackets and police escort.

“An early warning was provided in 2017 when United States President Donald Trump made a quip about rioting in Sweden: “You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this!”

Who indeed? At the time, such comments were met with disdain and ridicule. “Today, it is not so funny anymore.

“Sweden has transitioned from being a model of inspiration to becoming a warning example.”

GOP Leadership Ignores J-6ers

To date, more than 1,350 people have been charged with various crimes related to the January 6, 2021 PROTEST. From walking in and out of the U.S. Capitol, to touching something inside the building, to damaging or taking an item. How many people have been charged with crimes related to the 2020 George Floyd “mostly peaceful” riots? There was: looting, violence, structures and cars set on fire, people injured and murdered, to list a few of the “mostly peaceful” activities.

Of the 1,350+ people who have been charged from January 6, approximately 800 have been sentenced with about two-thirds receiving prison time.

Where is the Republican leadership?

 

 

 

 

ESG Is Dead, Long Live DEI?

It’s death by a thousand cuts for the progressive acronyms.

Over the past two years, conservatives have been close to declaring victory against woke investing, also known as ESG (environment, social, and governance). Across the country, Republican-led states have successfully pummeled ESG disciples into submission as they refuse to engage in an indirect boycott of the fossil fuel industry that keeps the power on and millions employed. But while ESG is hanging on for dear life, is DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) next on the grim reaper’s list?

The ESG Brand Is Dead

West Virginia announced that it has restricted four major financial institutions from participating in multi-billion-dollar state contracts regarding these entities’ environmental positions. Riley Moore, the state treasurer, confirmed that Citigroup, HSBC, The Northern Trust Company, and TD Bank have been added to the Mountain State’s Restricted Financial Institution List. Officials determined that these banks engaged in oil and gas sector boycotts.

This means that the four organizations, in addition to the current crop of financial institutions, would be prohibited from bidding on approximately $22 billion worth of state transactions in the future. Moore recently told Fox Business:

“We are absolutely going to stand by our industries here in fossil fuels. Last year, the world burned more coal than any time in human history. The consumption of coal is not going down. That is a myth that is proliferated by the climate-activist left. So, why would we put ourselves in a position to not be part of that? I applaud both of these institutions for working with us in a cooperative way to ensure the free market remains free and our state’s critical industries are treated fairly.”

ESG, an attempt to wokify Corporate America, was born nearly a decade ago. The concept, according to the Corporate Finance Institute, was designed to serve “as a framework that helps stakeholders understand how an organization is managing risks and opportunities related to environmental, social, and governance criteria.” Up until recently, the idea captured the imaginations of Wall Street giants, a group desperate to bolster its reputation and attract capital by pretending to save the planet, fight racism, and carry rainbow flags.

But rather than generate good publicity, the ESG has generated immense financial backlash. As Liberty Nation has reported over the years, several states have resisted companies that have reduced investments in the sectors that are the backbone of their local economies. From Florida to Oklahoma to Texas, a large number of red states have divested from companies that desire to boycott traditional energy firms, for example.

While conservatives appear to be winning the war on ESG, the next target is the DEI initiative.

Die, DEI, Die?

DEI is another woke tool in the progressive arsenal. Like ESG, DEI has been marketed as a benevolent endeavor to foster a climate of diversity and inclusivity. Instead, it has transformed into a punchline that even left-leaning individuals have shrugged off. During his recent appearance on The Daily Show, host Charlamagne tha God called DEI efforts “mostly garbage,” asserting that they are merely for “good vibes” to enhance “corporate PR.”

Despite the plethora of evidence that DEI is a quota-based tool, many insist that it is for the greater good and is an excellent system to ensure equality. Billionaire Mark Cuban engaged in extensive arguments on X with various accounts, including Elon Musk. He was given proof that corporations and universities have embraced the dirty deeds of quotas, reverse racism, and incompetence. As the popular X account, The Rabbit Hole, recently noted, “If it weren’t for the double standards, DEI wouldn’t have standards at all and it often doesn’t.”

Because it has metastasized into a dirty acronym – Dilbert creator recommended calling the term “Didn’t Earn It” – corporations are scaling back their DEI campaign, be it slashing budgets or terminating chief diversity officers. This year, Bloomberg and CNBC reported that Alphabet, Meta Platforms, and Zoom Video Communications approved cuts to DEI programs. Meanwhile, at the governmental level, Texas is leading the charge in the crusade against DEI. This past summer, Gov. Greg Abbott signed legislation prohibiting DEI and its clubs, organizations, and programs from involvement in the University of Texas ecosystem.

Leftists should not worry as the virtue signalers are trying to build a BRIDGE. Described as a social impact movement, it stands for benchmarking race, inclusion, and diversity in global engagement. It is still in its infancy period, but the conformists will rush to latch onto the next feel-good campaign. To paraphrase the Bard, wokeism by any other name would be just as rotten. ESG, DEI, or BRIDGE – it all derives from the epicenter of leftism.

The U.S., Argentina, and the Importance of Long-Run Growth

I’ve periodically tried to explain that even small differences in long-run growth can lead to immense benefits, including huge reductions in poverty.

To illustrate the importance of higher growth rates, I sometimes inform audiences that the United States today would be as poor as Mexico if the American economy had grown 1-percentage point slower over the past 130 years.

Needless to say, I then point out that we avoided that fate because we were fortunate enough to have decent economic policy.

But I also ask people to imagine how much richer we could be if we had great economic policy (sort of like Hong Kong before China’s crackdown) rather than decent economic policy.

I now have a new example to share. Here’s a fascinating tweet from Jason Furman, who was Chairman of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers.

As you can see, it does not seem like there has been a huge difference in per-capita economic growth between the United States and Argentina. But it turns out that 0.5 percentage points actually is enormous when looking at 100-plus years of data.

If you want even more evidence about why 0.5 percentage points of growth is important, the Economist reported a few years ago that Argentina was the world’s worst-performing economy over the past century.

That’s the high cost of Argentinian statism. Let’s hope President Milei can fix the problem.

P.S. Despite serving under President Obama (and despite sometimes being on the opposite side from me in debates), Furman is a rational Democrat.

P.P.S. Even though poor countries are supposed to grow faster than rich countries, the above chart is another example for my anti-convergence club.

Congress threatened to block China from controlling TikTok, the company riled up a mob of tweens to threaten Congress. If the Senate gives in, the outcome will be real enough.

TikTok certainly is real life. If you doubt it, look at the rate of teenage girls who have themselves mutilated because of trans trends on the app, even younger girls who killed themselves over material in the app’s algorithm or the spread of verbal or motor ‘tics’ to teens over the platform.

Social media isn’t real in the same way as the wind and the rain, or the laws of physics or economics, it’s an alternate reality spread through the internal realities of our minds.

Before social media, there was just media, the concentration of mass media, radio, film and newspapers that wrecked much of the twentieth century and killed millions of people. It is no coincidence that some of the most destructive social and political movements arose in line with the growth of the media. It’s impossible to imagine Nazism or Communism without the media.

What made people think that the Third Reich or the Communist revolution were viable? The Communists and Nazis were savvy propagandists who took full advantage of newspapers, film and all the elements of modern spectacle to concoct an alternate reality for millions of people. The crowds at Hitler rallies or Communist marches were living in their own version of the real world. And it was not until Hitler shot himself in his bunker or the Berlin Wall fell that they woke up to find that everything they believed had been as delusional.as anything on TikTok.

Social media is more unreal than media because, like Hitler rallies, it’s a mutual fantasy. TikTok denizens take that to the next level through triumphs over reality by claiming, for example, that Helen Keller never existed. Like a magical world, social media is a place where people can create their reality and then use intimidation and peer pressure to enforce it on others.

In this state of affairs, millions will believe that men can become women. And vice versa.

What was a consensual mutual fantasy within a like minded group became a non consensual fantasy once it was being imposed on women in locker rooms and swimming matches. The process by which the fantasy of a small group became a sexual assault on a larger society parallels how the unreal realities of narrow groups, whether it’s Communists fantasizing about the abolition of private property or master race fetishists, becomes a form of violence when a private fantasy is tethered to political power and imposed on the unwilling millions.

The unreal is sustained first by the delusions of those who wish to believe, then by persuadable useful idiots, then by mass propaganda and finally by force, social, political and finally violence as the failure of the unreal makes its devotees desperate to uphold it by any means necessary.

The power of the unreal lies in the magic of its unreality. Whether it entails transforming economics, gender or our understanding of the universe, revolutionary movements promise to reveal what is hidden and to accomplish the impossible if people just believe. But to believe, people must leave the realm of the real and enter into the alternate universe of the unreal.

Unreal politics depend on an unreal life. In times past, mass ignorance of the larger world made it possible for entire peoples to believe that their destinies depended on constellations or conversations with trees. There was no larger reality and so much of life took place in the unreal. But the citizens of modern civilization had to be immersed in the unreal. And only the advent of the mass media made it possible to immerse millions in unreal alternate realities.

The more people inhabit an alternate reality, the more they can be convinced to believe in anything. The phenomenon that began with the dawn of the media is reaching its apotheosis.

People could be skeptical of what they read in one newspaper, but the age of mass media introduced a barrage of newspapers, and then supplemented them with immediate messaging from radio broadcasts and then cinematic newsreels. The sheer concentration of park speakers, newspaper editorials, magazines, and headlines marching across the silver screen proved much harder to resist because it created an enveloping effect seemingly from everywhere.

Beyond politics, mass media made life unreal. People began taking fashion cues, life advice and moral guidance from the media. When celebrities divorced, it became more normalized, when they committed suicide, a rash of suicides followed. Millions of people stopped using their own judgment and took to repeating whatever they heard as if media culture was their society.

Reality fractured. Nations went to war or went bankrupt. The family fell apart. And throughout it all, the population climbed deeper and farther into the alternate reality of the media.

The internet fragmented that alternate reality and it made way for more immersive and less relatable echo chambers. The old media ceased to be able to speak to anyone outside its echo chamber, but the new media was even more unreal and less tethered to external reality. And the old media came to chase the fantasies of the new media no matter what dead ends they led to.

The old media, Hollywood, cable news and the rest of what’s left of the old mass media apparatus struggle to compete with the truly immersive swipe, stream and social media culture that not only surround smartphone users, but climb inside their heads and invite them to enter another world. And waiting in the wings is an augmented reality metaverse populated by AI bots that will make the worst of the current social media seem like the early days of the internet.

A preview of it can be founded on ‘child-friendly’ metaverses like Roblox or Minecraft where eight-year-olds are groomed by sexual predators, ordered to carve names in blood, like the recently exposed ‘764’ international network, and where reality becomes malleable long before children have reached an age where they have any sense of a clear and definite truth.

That is the same reason why the transgender movement is targeting increasingly younger kids.

Mass indoctrination programs always work best with the young. Children are the easiest to introduce to an imaginary world. And they will have the hardest time breaking away from it.

Children have always lived in imaginary worlds, but as mass media turned to colonizing those words, seizing control over them and imposing rules that crippled childhood imaginations, it also groomed each generation to buy its commercial products and then its ideological products.

What began with a for-profit colonization of childhood became a non-profit colonization in the same way that most of the old infrastructure of capitalism became political enterprises. ‘Woke’ and ‘broke’ are true, but also miss the point. The goal of the ESG system is for corporations to produce primarily political outcomes. Rather than achieving profits through competition, ESG secures wealth by consolidating political control over entire nations. That begins with children.

Woke corporations care very little what anyone over forty thinks about them. That is why the vast majority of advertising is aimed at younger audiences. Despite their assurances to their shareholders, they are not thinking about the next quarter, but about the right side of history.

The collective labor to create a utopia with an ideal outcome for everyone is a fantasy that has overtaken entire societies. The only reason anyone believes in it is that life has become unreal.

The degrees of unreality began with the rise of an upper class and then a middle class that had been sheltered from the realities of life and had a poor understanding of basic external realities. Newspapers, novels, theater, radio, film, television, the internet, social media and smartphones each came with a jump in radical politics as life became ever more mediated and unreal.

America’s early settlers struggled, but had a fairly tight grip on common sense, but by the mid-19th century, middle class families, with little understanding of settlement, headed West because they had been enraptured by popular accounts and worthless guide books, with no understanding of what it would take to make the trip, suffered and in some cases died.

They were already living in an alternate reality created by an early form of media.

Today, a population insulated by multiple media layers believes in seven impossible things before breakfast. Politicians, with no idea of how to accomplish anything, make worthless promises based on whatever trends on social media, run up trillions in debt and believe that they are making the world a better place without ever knowing the world as it truly is.

The concentrations of power, whether in D.C. or Silicon Valley, are more unreal than ever, mad courts where the echo chambers of power allow the elites to flirt with insane fantasies.

Anything seemed possible in Woodstock. Anything seems possible when playing with $6 trillion budgets. And anything can seem to be true in a modern university critical studies course.

Unreality has become our religion. Traditional faiths are falling away in favor of this unreality.

Our elites believe that we can all inhabit their unreal utopia if only we believe, make the appropriate sacrifices and stamp out all skepticism. And then the magic will be unleashed.

All of this seems more plausible to the laptop class who already live in a magical world where any food they want arrives in a few swipes, their screens hold endless entertainment and the world seems to exist to service them. In this unreal world, everything seems possible.

Living in it, reality seems like a distant fantasy. Fully automated luxury Communism, gender transformation, a global order and plastic bags summoning the wrath of Mother Earth are real.

The ancient pharaohs had no trouble believing that they were gods, because for a limited time they were. And for a much more limited time, our elites, either ancient and powerful, or young and wielding dot com enabled jobs, appear to be because they are detached from reality.

Living unreal lives, they adopt unreal beliefs until the unreal bubble of their lives bursts.

But where the pharaohs and ancient monarchs lived unreal lives on account of their power, the unreal inhabitants have been wrapped in unreality by media. Their power is an illusion. They are not god-kings, they have little real power, only a power fantasy fed to them by those with actual power. Whether it’s corporate media or radical politics, the true power lies with those who control the tap, not to those who get drunk on the unreal fantasies they provide.

The more the West loses itself in an unreal world, the worse the real world becomes.

Truth is the Sublime Convergence of History and Reality

In 2013 I started a Club For the Galacticly Stupid page, and I've tagged an awful lot of articles accordingly, but many are not listed in my CFGS pages.  So, make sure to follow the link below to see all that's tagged accordingly, since that list has grown unendingly, and I could have added a whole lot more, and there will be a whole lot more. 

Whether they're in commerce, entertainment, sports, or government, the leftist contamination that befouls their minds is overwhelming and stunning.  If they actually believe the things they say, they need psychological help.  If they don't believe the things they say, they're in even greater need of psychological help. 

First of all IQ is highly overrated.  Let's get over the idea because they're financially successful,  and have a high intelligence quotient, they're smart.  The blonde bombshell of the 50's Jayne Mansfield had an 163 IQ.  She spoke five languages, and was a classically trained pianist and violinist.  But so what? 

Many years ago I read about Stephan Hawking, and how he was one of the smartest men in the world, with an IQ of 160.  Since he was so smart, I thought I ought to see what he had to say, so I started following him.   

What I discovered was when it came to physics, I didn't have a clue what he was talking about.  But once he started talking about history, social issues, logic, or current events, I realized he was dumb as dirt.  Since I spend a lot of time reading about history and current events I knew he didn't know what he was taking about. 

I find this true of a great many high IQ scientists, or specialists.  For some reason it seems clear to me they simply don't read history books, as a result, they're views are molded by the narratives of the moment. Since they're so ignorant about history, they're incapable of being prescient of future events.  History is everything.  History is the paved pathway leading to the stepping stones to the future. 

Henry Kissinger was considered brilliant, yet his globalist visions help Nixon open China up to world trade, and now we're funding their efforts to destroy America.  That outcome should have been obvious to someone that well educated, and that well informed.  So, even those who read history and lecture about it ignore the lessons of history and reality, and respond in favor to ideology.  They're unendingly guilty of two things intellectually.  

1. The ignore the things they know because they're inconvenient.
2. They make up the things they don't know.   

Ideology makes smart people stupid. 

I often wonder how these people sleep at night.  The fact is, leftists are a self-righteous, hateful, vain, corrupt, mean, greedy, envious, violent, and are an unhappy crowd.  That's my view, and my view obviates any contrary view, because my views are predicated on history and reality. 

See, definition leads to clarity!

The gaggle of galactic dimwits that's been in the news over the years is mind boggling, and the same names keep popping up over and over again, meaning they're incapable ...by choice or chance... of being anything but terminally stupid.  

I just can't believe people who must be reasonably intelligent, otherwise how did they rise to prominence, or powerful positions, and yet can say the ridiculous things they say, and presumably believe.  

• It's clear that some of these people are just as stupid as they sound. 
• It is also clear that some of them sold their integrity for 12 pieces of silver - that being a combination of money and notoriety.  
• It's clear that some are so committed to their insane ideologies they are incapable of changing.   

So determined are they to stick to these ideologies they'll adopt any irrational rambling in an attempt to justify their positions.  That makes them insane.  I don’t know which I find more disturbing; those in power who are stupid, or those in power who are insane.   Well that's it for a while, I hope you will find it all enlightening.

Sweden's Leadership Just Now Grasp Their Immigration Polices Are Disastrous

Today, April 17, 2024, Olivia Murray published this article, Swedish MP who previously fought for open borders does a ‘spectacular u-turn’ and argues for deportations for migrants devouring her homeland saying:

“I have changed my mind on the matter,” said Louise Meijer, a Swedish Member of Parliament who was once a vocal supporter of open borders and mass arrivals—but as Thomas Brooke of Remix News writes, Meijer has undertaken a “spectacular u-turn” and is now calling for “strict immigration, deportations, and reparation” policies to combat the “fundamental” transformation of her beloved Sweden....... ‘mass immigration has been followed by several major problems.’.............‘serious, organized crime is committed to a large extent by people with foreign assets,’ that large groups of immigrants are ‘not self-sufficient,’ and that the ‘culture of honor, separatism, and Islamism is limiting and dangerous.’

Islam is limiting and dangerous?  Really?  Amazing, and she's just now discovered that?   And we only have a mere 1500 years of Islamic history that's testimony to just how vile and dangerous Islam really is to western civilization.  And she just noticed. 

She previously opposed any restrictions on immigration, and now she's shocked, shocked I tell you, (I do love channeling Captain Renault) to find all these Muslims from Africa and the Middle East are "fundamentally" changing the country.  I think to say they're changing the country is grossly unfair and totally inappropriate.  They're destroying Sweden.  Here are some of the examples listed by Olivia:

• Sweden: Lethal violence in 2020 at highest level ever; number of reported rapes rises considerably
• Sweden: Two migrant background men torture and rape two boys in a cemetery for nearly 10 hours
• Sweden: 4 Eritreans who gang-raped 40-year-old Swedish woman will not be deported
• Iraqi duo who urinated on and gang raped woman on cruise ship to remain in Sweden as court says they have ‘integrated’
• Sweden: Syrian national who raped 12-year-old girl in a public toilet sentenced to gender talks; avoids deportation and jail time

And if you read my commentaries, which I've linked below, you will see that's just the tip of the iceberg.  We need to grasp this fundamental truth. Muslims are migrating to western societies but they will not integrate because they're still fundamentally medieval tribal societies afflicted with:

"Centuries-old mindset of barbarism with a totally different “value” system than the Judeo-Christian morality of the West, who subscribe to an ideology that commands the killing of non-Muslims, don’t exactly “mesh” well with the European people and their European culture."

I've written about the insanity of Swedish leadership for over ten years, so it isn't as if this is a discovery of previously unknown facts about the disaster their immigration polices created.  And just now she's discovered that she and her colleagues have been wrong right from the beginning.  

Well, I find that mind boggling, since I'm not from Sweden, never been to Sweden, and I'm a retired 40 veteran of the structural pest control industry, and yet I've known for many years what she's just discovered.   I think it well to ask:  If the bugman knows this stuff, all of which should have been obvious to the most casual observer, how could this foolish person not know it?  Answer: Ideology makes smart people stupid!

However, not all the people of Sweden were as stupid as she. One Swedish lady commented on one of my articles saying:

I’m a swede and you have made perfect analyses of the whole situation. I prefer to say that ppl over here literally have sold their souls to Satan himself. If we don’ t vote for sane leaders in next election we will lose our country, we will find ourselves in an open war. Two nights ago a Swedish man who tried to prevent a robbery in a hotel-restaurant was killed with a machete-knife. Jihad is here already and it is difficult not to hate our political leaders and the Satanic Authorities which protect the killers and rapists and leave the victims bleeding both bodily and spiritually. It is tragic to lose your country, it is a nightmare... God bless you, Sir, telling the world the truth. 

These "leaders" were supposed to be shepherds that protect their flock.  Yet what they did was turn wolves loose into the flock, and their corrupted "system of justice" has been part and parcel of the horrors these wolves perpetrated.  

And this nitwit just now noticed. Remarkable!

Hypersonic Hype

Today, we're talking about the "unstoppable" hypersonic missiles that the Russians have been hyping up over the past few years. Spoiler alert: this is just the handy work of the hyperbolic-Russian-propaganda-machine. The hypersonics in question are the Kinzhal and Zircon, which are indeed some advanced missiles. However, we've already seen instances of these being intercepted with existing defense systems, such as the US Patriot. 

There are also several other factors that help deconstruct this Russian lie including flight path limitations, reduced accuracy and warhead size due to high speeds, and vulnerabilities at lower altitudes. Sure, these are advanced weapons that should be taken seriously, but these are nowhere near the game-changing level that the Russians have made them out to be.

Government Plays With Jobs Numbers

Hey, didn’t you write this last week about the inflation numbers?

Speaking of inflation … the Consumer Price Index ROSE in March to 3.5 percent. FOURTH MONTH IN A ROW INCREASE. Thank you, Joe Biden! 

Government gaslighting holds true for the monthly jobs report released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). According to BLS, in March, the U.S. economy added 303,000 jobs and left the unemployment rate at 3.8 percent.

Yeah, right. Does this feel like a healthy economy to you?

Of the 303,000 March jobs, 72,000 were healthcare related (i.e., businesses that are connected to the government, i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, etc.). Of the 303,000 March jobs, 71,000 were added in government.

• The majority of new jobs are part-time.
• For the 12 months ended March 2024, more than 650,000 native-born Americans lost their jobs. 
• For the 12 months ended March 2024, more than 1 million foreign-born workers got jobs. The labor force participation rate has held steady and in March at 62.7 percent. 

Using BLS’ own statistics, that means there are fewer people working now than before the COVID-19 “scamdemic.” 

The BLS monthly jobs report is meaningless and should be placed at the bottom of a bird cage! Eleven out of 12 monthly reports in 2023 were revised down several months after Joey paraded to the podium to talk about the great jobs report. (Maybe they promised him ice cream afterwards.) 

This trend continues into 2024! 

• February’s job report was revised down by 5,000.
• January’s job report was revised down by an astounding 124,000.
• December’s job report was revised down by 43,000.  

How many people in the private sector could continually give their CEO an important report and come back month after month with revisions?  

Of course the propaganda media insists that's all a huge Bidennomic success story.  Well, if you like that "success" story, here are 11 more Bidenomic "success" stories.

The executive coaching firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas released a report that employers in the U.S. announced 90,309 job cuts in March. This was a 7 percent INCREASE in job cuts from February. That is the highest monthly total since January 2023, when there were 102,943 cuts.

President and CEO of Job Creators Network Alfredo Ortiz said of the March jobs report:

"Looking under the hood of today's jobs report shows it isn't the home run that Democrats and the media claim. Approximately, half of all jobs created last month came in unproductive government or quasi-government healthcare sectors. Full-time jobs continue to decline, while part-time jobs are on the rise. The Main Street labor market is far weaker than the topline numbers or the conditions on Wall Street or K Street suggest."

Corn Pop disagrees and says that is a lot of malarkey. Let’s look at some recent Bidenomics successes:

1.  99-Cents Only Store (discount retailer) – Began liquidating and shutting all its 371 stores on April 5.
2.  Aludyne (lightweight solutions) – The Georgia company is letting 193 employees (8 percent) go of its 2,300-employee workforce.
3.  Apple (technology) – Included in its state filing that it will be laying off 614 workers in California. The affected employees worked at eight different facilities in Santa Clara.
4.  Bloomer Chocolate Company (food) – By the end of May, will be closing its factory in Chicago’s Fulton River District, which puts 226 people out of a job.
5.  Lands’ End (retail) – Has laid off 10 percent of its corporate staff.
6.  Lidl (grocery store chain) – Plans to layoff about 200 corporate level employees.
7.  Quaker Oats (food) – The Chicago-based unit of Pepsico since 2001, opened its Danville, Illinois plant in 1969. The company announced the plant would be closing, which means 500+ jobs will be gone.
8.  ShipMonk (eCommerce) – Will lay off 148 of its 600 workers (25 percent reduction) by June 30.
9.  Student Transportation of America (transportation for public and private schools) – The Florida headquartered company has about 5,000 staffers and will say goodbye to 225 of them.
10.  Transunion (credit reporting) – Recently reduced its staff by 640 jobs.
11.  Unilver (consumer goods) – Will be laying off 7,500 workers worldwide.

Mike Johnson: The Mole Who Thinks Fake News CNN Reporter Jake Tapper is "Always Fair"

On Wednesday, April 17, 2024 I ran this piece, Republican Control of the House, describing the turmoil brewing there saying:

There's been a lot of turbulence in the Republican controlled House, and it's not been pretty. But all this turbulence has really exposed who are the conservative members and who are not, and some of those who are not have abandoned their Republican colleagues by resigning, and have done so in such a way as to make it possible for the Democrats to take over.  And now we're seeing another battle over the Speakership, and giving Speaker Johnson's actions, we're not shocked.   Marjorie Taylor Greene is spearheading the effort to remove him saying:  ’Yes I’m Willing to Force It'

I noted she was no longer the lone voice as Rep. Massie joined her in this crusade, calling for Johnson’s Resignation, laying out a plan to replace him.   And this dissatisfaction is spreading!  

There's a lot of anger over Johnson's Foreign Aid ‘insanity’, all the while neglecting the nation's border control, not to mention his "reversal on the Foreign Service Intelligence Act, supporting a FISA extension that passed earlier in April."  And he's joined by fellow schemers like Mike Gallagher, who postponed quitting to pass the Ukraine aid bill.  I think that's telling, and it gets worse.  What's even more telling is Biden ‘Strongly’ Supports Speaker’s $95 Billion Foreign Aid Package. 

Well, it turns out, just like Biden, Johnson has issues regarding Ukraine.  His "top policy adviser" is a former lobbyist with clients with business interests in this Ukraine war.   Which Wendell Husebø and Matthew Boyle claim is:

The inside story of how House Speaker Mike Johnson was flip-flopped on Ukraine aid starts with his top policy adviser, a former lobbyist whose clients include a number of major companies who have issued corporate statements indicating some kind of interest in the war.

If anyone has any delusions that Johnson is part of the Nitwit Brigade, this should end all doubts,  Mike Johnson Praises CNN’s Jake Tapper Off-Air: ‘You’re Always Fair’.  

Always fair?  Really?  When?  Bradley Jaye lists all that "fairness", he and CNN pushed:

Is it any wonder CNN is going down the tubes.  As for Johnson, just how stupid can a person be?  I guess there's no limit.

It seems clear there are two things about Speaker Johnson we must conclude.  Charles Wills says Speaker Johnson is just another compromised, self serving politician as he supported FISA, which is in reality "the unconstitutional power to spy on its enemies--the American people", and he further says, and I agree, Johnson is just Another Deep State Sleeper as he asks:

• How is funding full term abortions and the child transsexual agenda going to save the republic? 
• How is funding a Nazi government, that has suspended elections and imprisons Christians, going to save the republic? How is funding the transportation, housing, food, and medical expenses of illegal aliens going to save the republic? How is funding the LGBTQ movement going to save the republic? 
• How will funding projects that the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein requested or the building of Chuck Schumer's environmental justice center in New York City going to save the republic?

He states, "The only way to save the republic is to fire all the Mike Johnsons in Congress and elect more Marjorie Taylor Greens."  The danger moles represent is you don't know they're moles until they get power, and exert that power to destroy.  All of which must be why Rand Paul agrees they need to oust Johnson as Speaker.
